Full-Time and Part. Time Employees The base rates of pay in the appropriate employment classification for full-time employees and for part-time employees shall be the hourly rates of pay set out in Column 1 of Table 1 of Schedule B to this Agreement.

Full-Time and Part time Seniority Lists: Separate seniority lists will be established for Full-time and Part-time employees for each department and supplied to the Union. An employee can obtain seniority on only one list at a time. Seniority lists will be posted each January 1 and July 1, showing house, department, and classification seniority. An employee will have the period of ten (10) days to dispute the newly posted seniority list. The list provided to the Union shall contain the above information as well as social insurance number, address, and telephone number.

Full-Time and Part. Time Employees will endeavour to schedule all medical, dental and specialist appointments outside working hours; however if an employee is referred to a specialist by a general practi- tioner and if the specialists appointment can not be booked outside of working hours, the employee should discuss with their Director/designate any adjustments that can be made to accommodate the appointment in order to maintain the employee as whole. The employee should review with their Director/designate as soon as possible after notification by the specialist the date and time of the appointment. The employee does not need to disclose details with respect to the nature of the appointment to their Director/designate. Part time employees who need to alter their schedule due to specialists’ appointments will maintain their equalization of opportunity to work.
