Common use of Food Service Employees Clause in Contracts

Food Service Employees. An employee shall not be required to report to work when school is canceled. The employee will receive his/her normal daily payment for the first four (4) cancelled days. In the event the District is required to reschedule the day(s) in order to receive full state membership aid, the employee will work on the rescheduled day(s) at no additional compensation. For all cancelled days beyond the first four (4), if the days are rescheduled as student instruction days, an employee shall be compensated for the hours worked on the rescheduled days.

The employee will receive his/her normal daily payment be paid for the first four (4) cancelled days. In day if the event Board is not required by the District is required Revised School Code or the State Aid Act to reschedule the day(s) lost days and hours in order to receive full state membership aidappropriations. If the Employer is required to reschedule the cancelled days / hours, the employee will not be paid for the cancelled days / hours but will be paid for work performed on the rescheduled day(s) at no additional compensation. For all cancelled days beyond the first four (4), if the days are rescheduled as student instruction days, an employee shall be compensated for the hours worked on the rescheduled days/ hours.
