Deductions from Pay. The Municipality may deduct monies owed to the Municipality under any Municipal policy or program in which the employee is participating which calls for payroll deductions, such as tuition reimbursement and benefit deductions. The MOA may not make any other deductions from employee pay except as authorized by law or written agreement with the employee. Any such written agreement must be concurred in by the Union.
Deductions from Pay. The Board agrees that it will deduct from the pay of all employees covered by this Agreement an amount equal to the dues, assessments, levies and initiation fees of the Union in accordance with the Union Constitution and/or By-laws. Such deductions shall be made for each pay period. Should the Union change the amount of required dues during the term of this Agreement, it shall notify the Board in writing by registered mail, addressed to the City Librarian four (4) weeks in advance of said changes.
