Seasonal Leave Sample Clauses

Seasonal Leave. Seasonal Employees accrue Seasonal Leave at a rate of 6.0 hours per pay period prorated for actual hours paid based on an 80-hour pay period. Unused Seasonal Leave is cashable at 100% redemption rate at the termination of seasonal employment. Accrued Seasonal Leave expires with the termination of seasonal employment and cannot be carried forward into another employment period.

Seasonal Leave. A. A seasonal employee will receive the cash value of his or her personal leave at the end of the season and be placed in leave without pay status until the work season resumes.
Seasonal Leave. Provided that the employee agrees to take a maximum of two (2) weeks of vacation, as per Article 19.06, during the period of June 1st through September 30th, a 90/10 seasonal leave with income averaging will be offered to regular employees subject to mutual agreement between the Operations Manager and employee. The period of time not worked will be five (5) weeks and one (1) day and may be taken in one (1) or two (2) blocks of time during the period of October 1st through April 30th and within the one (1) year income averaging period, subject to the needs of the business. The one (1) year income averaging period must begin sometime during the duration of the Collective Agreement. The normal Company practices associated with 90/10 seasonal leave will be applicable. Service credits will be granted for the entire leave.

  • Personal Leave Day A. An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal leave day each fiscal year during the life of this Agreement if the employee has been continuously employed for more than four (4) months.

  • Personal Leave Written request for a personal leave of absence without pay will be considered on an individual basis by the Hospital. Such requests are to be submitted to the employee's immediate supervisor at least four (4) weeks in advance, unless not reasonably possible to give such notice, and a written reply will be given within fourteen (14) days except in cases of emergency in which case a reply will be given as soon as possible. Employees needing personal leave days for appointments with medical practitioners may utilize the personal leave language. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Extended Personal Leave Personal leave without pay not to exceed thirty (30) 26 days may be granted at the discretion of the Superintendent. Personal leave in 27 excess of thirty (30) days shall be subject to approval by the Board.

  • Personal Leaves 8.11.4.1 As approved by the Board, personal leaves without pay may be granted in cases of exceptional need for up to six (6) months.
