Data Connectivity. The Service Provider will provide voice and data connectivity between the Service Provider’s delivery centres and network to the Customer. The Service Provider will be responsible for specifying the connectivity solution to enable the services to be provided as set in Schedule 2 (Service Description) and to meet the Service Levels as defined in Schedule 3 (Service Levels and Service Credits). The connectivity specification will make provision for organic growth over time, peak loads and anticipate the use of additional services over the life of the agreement, for example increased use of video services. The Service Provider will deliver the data connectivity between the Service Provider’s delivery centres and Customer Locations through the provision of a primary MPLS based connection and by secondary VPN connection as a backup. The primary and backup links will offer divergence of routing so that in the event of an outage in the primary link, traffic will be automatically directed onto the secondary link. Over this transport path, the data connectivity will be used for Service Provider staff to access the Customer Network from its delivery centres enabling access to the Customer’s Applications, Tools and data using [***] VDI unless otherwise agreed by the Customer in writing. The Service Provider will provide voice services over separate dedicated and resilient network links. These links and associated software will ensure that the quality of the calls enable the provision of the services in Schedule 2 (Service Description) and meet the Service Levels defined in Schedule 3 (Service Levels and Service Credits). The voice system will be fully integrated into the Customer current voice services so that internal callers see the Service Provider services as an internal extension number both when dialling to Service Provider staff and the Service Desk, and when receiving calls from Service Provider staff.

Data Connectivity. As illustrated in the Architecture Diagram, the proposed solution will require a VPN connection from both OC SSA call center locations to the CALNET2 network‐based platform. Connectivity requirements for Agents and Supervisors are as follows: UGenesys Agent Desktop / Genesys Supervisor Desktop • 32 Kbps per Supervisor x 40 supervisors = 1280 Kbps • 8 Kbps per Agent x 200 concurrent agents = 1600 Kbps EU nterprise Reporting Solution (ERS) • 500 Kbps total Total data connectivity required for this solution is estimated to be 3.380 Mbps. Additional bandwidth could be required for Workforce Management; Workforce Management bandwidth requirements will be determined during WFM Operational Discovery Workshop. It is assumed that sufficient bandwidth exists at each call center location to accommodate the connectivity requirements specified above.

  • Network Access Control The VISION Web Site and the Distribution Support Services Web Site (the “DST Web Sites”) are protected through multiple levels of network controls. The first defense is a border router which exists at the boundary between the DST Web Sites and the Internet Service Provider. The border router provides basic protections including anti-spoofing controls. Next is a highly available pair of stateful firewalls that allow only HTTPS traffic destined to the DST Web Sites. The third network control is a highly available pair of load balancers that terminate the HTTPS connections and then forward the traffic on to one of several available web servers. In addition, a second highly available pair of stateful firewalls enforce network controls between the web servers and any back-end application servers. No Internet traffic is allowed directly to the back-end application servers. The DST Web Sites equipment is located and administered at DST’s Winchester data center. Changes to the systems residing on this computer are submitted through the DST change control process. All services and functions within the DST Web Sites are deactivated with the exception of services and functions which support the transfer of files. All ports on the DST Web Sites are disabled, except those ports required to transfer files. All “listeners,” other than listeners required for inbound connections from the load balancers, are deactivated. Directory structures are “hidden” from the user. Services which provide directory information are also deactivated.
