Associated Software means EDT Document Capture and EDT Connect Lite;

Associated Software means software that we distribute that was created by a third party and is not war- ranted by us. Each has its own license agreement that we send to you on your request and also have on our web site. Examples are AccuMail, and the runtimes from Omnis and Crystal as well as items marked with an * on the signature page. You are only permitted to use Associated Software in conjunction with our Software.

Examples of Associated Software in a sentence

• The Associated Software and Associated Hardware shall be provided in compliance with the specifications and/or service standards described on Exhibit C (Associated Hardware and Associated Software) when applicable.

• If, pursuant to the applicable Participation Agreement, the Participant has agreed to receive Associated Hardware and/or Associated Software from the HIO, the terms of this Section 7 (Associated Hardware and Software to be Provided by HIO) shall apply to that Participant.

• The specifications, service standards and/or warranties to be provided by the vendor or vendors of the Associated Software and/or the Associated Hardware shall be described in the applicable agreements for those third-party products in the Addendum associated with the third-party product.

• From time to time, HIO shall provide to the Participant the software and/or hardware required to access the System and use the Services the Participant has expressly agreed to receive in its Participation Agreement, as more particularly described in Exhibit C (Associated Hardware and Associated Software) when applicable.

• The Participant shall not modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, re-engineer or otherwise create or permit or assist others to create the Associated Software or the System otherwise, or to create any derivative works from the Associated Software or the System.

• The Associated Software includes certain third-party software, hardware, and services, which may be subject to separate licenses or subscription or other agreements or may require that a Participant enter into such agreements with third-party vendors.

• The Participant shall not modify the Associated Software or combine the Associated Software with any other software or services not provided or approved by HIO.

• The Participant shall execute such agreements as may be required for the use of such software, hardware or services, and to comply with the terms of any applicable license or other agreement relating to third-party products included in Associated Software.

• HIO grants to the Participant a non-exclusive, personal, nontransferable, limited license to use the Associated Software and the Associated Hardware for access to, or use of, the System and, if the Participant is a Data Recipient, for the purpose of obtaining the Services.

• As used herein, the term “Associated Hardware” shall have the meaning described in Section 7.1 (Description of Associated Hardware and Associated Software) and if any, listed in Exhibit C (Associated Hardware and Associated Software).
