Custodial/Maintenance Personnel. For the purpose of this Agreement, any new position not specifically included shall be classified as part of the bargaining unit only with the mutual consent of the Board and OAPSE. Disputes over classification shall be resolved through the grievance process. Substitutes are not considered part of the bargaining unit and shall have no rights and/or obligations under this document.

Custodial/Maintenance Personnel. (a) Full-time employment shall be 40 hours each week including a paid lunch period each day that is the same as the Education Association.
Custodial/Maintenance Personnel. Salary schedule shall be based on their hourly rate of pay and shall be based on 2080 hours per year - 8 hours per day - 260 days per year - 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday. Additional days in year shall be paid in those years when additional days occur.

Custodial/Maintenance Personnel. When schools are not in session and no activities are scheduled during the off-shifts in the building, all custodial/maintenance personnel shall work the day shift, except for Teacher Conference Day and other scheduled school activities where shifts may be altered. All custodial/maintenance personnel shall work the day shift during the summer months. Custodial/Maintenance personnel shall have the opportunity to work four (4) ten (10) hour days over the summer and during breaks at the discretion of the administration as determined by the needs of the District. The administration will consider seniority in making personnel determinations concerning any change to four (4) ten (10) hour days. Personnel who use vacation, sick or personal days while on 10-hour shifts, if any, shall be charged 1.25 days against accumulated vacation, sick or personal leave.
Custodial/Maintenance Personnel. The workday for custodial/maintenance personnel shall be eight (8) hours, inclusive of a one hour meal break. Each custodian will be given a work shoe/boot voucher to purchase workboots to support working conditions of safety for all custodians during the workday. Boot description and purchase location will be directed and articulated through the Business Office.

All employees shall be scheduled to take the following days on the day of the holiday: Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Memorial Day.
