For the last two years under the current Contractor, the Center has provided high quality and affordable child development services to County and other public employees based in and near the Van Nuys Civic Center, and to community residents when space is available. Contractor has shown it is able to obtain and leverage existing contracts/grants/subsidies and with the reductions to the center’s operating costs, it is expected that the operator will continue to pass these savings on to consumers in the form of lower fees. The Contractor must ensure all necessary licenses are in place; provide hot meal service; collect parent fees; maintain phone service to the facility; and work well with parents, CEO-OCC, and the sponsoring entities’ Advisory Panel. The Center is located at 00000 Xxxxxx Xxxxxx xx Xxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxxxxx. The interior of the building consists of 7,175 square feet. In addition to the classroom areas, the facility includes two offices, a staff lounge, and a kitchen.
