Association Officer Leave. The Board agrees to grant temporary duty leave to the president and one (1) other officer of the Association during his/her term of office. Upon election, the president and one (1) other officer shall apply for Association leave for the term of their office in writing to the Superintendent. The President and one (1) other officer shall remain an active employee and shall suffer no loss in benefits during his/her service. The President and one (1) other officer shall be compensated at his/her teacher salary for 196 days per year, shall receive credit toward annual salary increments, and shall be allowed to remain a part of the health plan and benefit programs to the extent allowed by law. The Association shall reimburse the District within thirty (30) calendar days upon receipt of an invoice for any and all costs incurred during this period of full time temporary duty assignment, to include, but not limited to costs of salary, payroll taxes, retirement contribution, health plan contribution, workers’ compensation, and other benefits and/or any other payments present or future incurred by the Board as a result of this arrangement. Upon return from such leave, the teacher shall be placed in a teaching position in the District for which he/she is fully qualified.

Association Officer Leave. Up to a total of five (5) days per contract year may be taken by each MVCTA Executive Board member (president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer) for the purpose of conducting Association business, including, but not limited to, meetings with the administration, ISTA professional development, and participation in state and local initiatives in support of public education. To utilize such leave, the Executive Board member, or Association President acting on behalf of the Executive Board Member(s), shall make a written request to the Assistant Superintendent at least one week prior to the start of such leave. Such leave request shall not be unreasonably denied.
Association Officer Leave. The HSEA president may designate an officer that will be granted leave for one period daily to conduct association business. This leave provision will only apply to a teacher with a secondary teaching assignment.

Association Officer Leave. Subd. 1. A leave up to three years, without pay, shall be granted to any teacher for the purpose of serving as an officer of the exclusive representative or as a member of the staff of such association. No more than one person at a time may be granted Association Officer Leave. Upon his return from such a leave, he/she shall be placed on the salary schedule as though he had been teaching in the Plainview-Elgin-Millville School System during such absence. When on leave, the individual teacher may maintain at his cost the insurance included in this contract. The cost thereof shall be paid
Association Officer Leave. A leave of absence without pay or fringe benefits for a period of time mutually agreed between the School Board and teacher shall be granted to a teacher, upon written notification to the School Board, for the purpose of serving as an officer of the Association, Education Minnesota, AFT, or NEA, or for working on its staff. The teacher shall retain all seniority, tenure, salary placement, and fringe benefits, which the teacher had accrued prior to taking the leave. The leave shall be limited to two (2) teachers at any one (1) time. Requests for such leave must be submitted by March 1 of the year the leave is to commence. The School Board will, should extenuating circumstances exist, consider leaves submitted after March 1. A teacher who is granted an “Association Officer Leave” may continue to participate in District-sponsored fringe benefit programs at his/her own expense.

  • Data Protection Officer 10.1 The Data Processor will appoint a Data Protection Officer where such appointment is required by Data Protection Laws and Regulations.

  • Union Officers Employees hereafter elected or appointed to full­ time Union office shall be granted a leave of absence without loss of sen­ iority but without accumulating seniority during the period of the leave of absence.

The Board will provide the Association President or their designee with forty (40) days of paid released time during the course of the school year in order to conduct Association Business. The Association shall reimburse the Board for the cost of any substitute required as the result of any such released time which exceeds forty (40) days during the course of the school year.

  • Association President The President of the Association has the right to visit schools. The President will coordinate the visits with the offices of the principals in order to facilitate the purpose of this visit. Visits that are made to solve special problems of teachers will be arranged in advance by notifying the office of the principal.

  • Association Leave A total of 10 days of leave with pay during the current school year shall be granted the Association for use by the Association. A maximum of four additional days may be used for Association leave and the substitute’s salary will be reimbursed to the Board by the Association. The President of the Association will notify the Superintendent as to the educators and dates involved at least five (5) days before such leave is desired.

  • Chief Operating Officer Subject to the powers of the Company Board, the chief executive officer and the president, the chief operating officer of the Company shall have general and active management of the business of the Company. The chief operating officer shall see that all orders and resolutions of the president are carried into effect. The chief operating officer shall have such other powers and perform such other duties as may from time to time be prescribed by the chief executive officer, the president or the Company Board.

  • President’s Leave The Employer shall authorize a leave of absence with pay for the President of the Association. The leave of absence with pay shall be taken for a two-year period beginning two (2) weeks after written notice by the Association to the Bureau of Employee Relations and the newly-elected President’s agency. During such leave of absence with pay, the President shall continue to receive and retain all of his/her wages, rights, benefits, and seniority as a state employee except that all leave accumulation shall be frozen for the duration of the leave of absence. Upon returning from the leave of absence, the President shall resume earning leave at the rates appropriate to his/her service at the time of return. The Employer agrees that there shall be no action taken with respect to the President or the President’s state position prior to or following his/her return from the leave of absence because of his/her legal union activities. The Association agrees to reimburse the Employer for the full cost of the wages and benefits for the President, and to indemnify the Employer against any and all liabilities associated with the leave of absence, including but not limited to workers' compensation.

  • CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER CERTIFICATION The undersigned Chief Executive Officer and Chief Fiscal Officer of the Recipient, as both are designated in Appendix B of the Agreement, hereby request the Director to disburse financial assistance moneys made available to Project in Appendix C of the Agreement (inclusive of any amendment thereto) to the payee as identified below in the amount so indicated which amount equals the product of the Disbursement Ratio and the dollar value of the attached cost documentation which was properly billed to the Recipient in exclusive connection with the performance of the Project. The undersigned further certify that:
