Project Construction Cost. The actual amount paid by the Trustees for constructing the project.
Project Construction Cost means the total cost of all construction contracts involving work that has been designed or specified by the Designer in furtherance of the Project, but does not include any payments made to the Designer or consultants.
Project Construction Cost means the estimate of total construction costs to the District as initially submitted by the Architect under this Agreement and accepted by the District, and as subsequently revised in these ways: (a) Revised by changes to the Project Construction Cost under Article 5 of this Agreement; (b) revised at the time the District enters a construction contract, to equal the construction contract amount, (c) increased by the dollar amounts of all approved additive contract change order items, with the exception of (i) items resulting from Wrongful Acts or Omissions on the part of the Architect, including but not limited to those items covered by Section 5.7.19.2, below, (ii) payments to Architect or consultants for costs of inspections, surveys, tests and sites and landscaping not included in the Project, and (iii) items where Architect and District agreed to compensate the Architect for its services on an hourly basis, pursuant to Section 5.7.19.1, below; and (d) decreased by the dollar amounts of all approved deductive contract change order items. If project is terminated by District prior to bid; the Project Construction Cost will be set at the most recent district accepted construction cost estimate as provided by the Architect.
Examples of Project Construction Cost in a sentence
To avoid the potential for bids to exceed the estimate by more than 10% at bid opening, the Architect may, as an alternative, include in the Contract Documents one or more deductive alternatives so that Architect and District may evaluate different means to achieve a satisfactory project within ten percent (10%) of the Architect’s Project Construction Cost.
If project is terminated by District prior to bid; the Project Construction Cost will be set at the most recent district accepted construction cost estimate as provided by the Architect.
The revised Project Construction Cost shall be based on current area, volume and other unit costs.

Project Construction Cost means the estimated cost to the City of actually constructing an assigned project, but such cost shall not include any Design Consultant's or special consultant's fees or reimbursements or the cost of equipment installed by the City under separate contract, unless the Design Consultant is required by the City to prepare drawings and specifications for such equipment. The initial Project Construction Cost for the project to which the Design Consultant is assigned shall be provided to the Design Consultant at the time the Design Consultant prepares its proposal for that project.
