Contractor’s Representative definition

Contractor’s Representative means the individual authorised to act on behalf of the Contractor for the purposes of the Contract. The initial Contractor’s representative is as indicated in the Form of Agreement.
Contractor’s Representative means the person named by the Contractor in the Contract or appointed from time to time by the Contractor, who acts on behalf of the Contractor.

More Definitions of Contractor’s Representative

Contractor’s Representative means a person in supervisory capacity who shall be so declared by the Contractor and who shall be authorized under duly executed Power of Attorney to receive materials issued by the Purchaser to the Contractor for the works. He shall be responsible for proper execution of work at each or all places and shall take orders from Purchaser’s Engineers and carry out the same. “Engineer” shall mean the Works Manager or the Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer in executive charge of the works and shall include the superior officers of the Integral Coach Factory. He is responsible for ensuring that all field works covered by the contract are carried out in accordance with approved specifications and conditions of contract as agreed to. He is also responsible for prices and terms of payment.
