Execution of the Works definition

Execution of the Works means the construction, procurement and supply of materials for construction, testing and completion of the Works and the correction of defects in the Works and all works and things required to be undertaken pursuant to the Contract and “Executed”, “Execute” and “Execution” shall be construed accordingly.

  • Within the first week of every month from the issue of the Notice to Proceed during the Execution Period or at such intervals as WAPCOS Limited Representative may direct, the Contractor shall meet with WAPCOS Limited Representative and any of the Relevant Authority and any Related Works Contractors and any of their respective advisers as will be reasonably entitled to attend, to review the development of the design and Execution of the Works (“Review Meetings”).

Related to Execution of the Works

  • The Works means the works to be executed and completed under the Contract.

  • Construction materials means any tangible personal property that will be converted into real property.

  • Systems and Equipment means any plant (including any central plant), machinery, transformers, duct work, cable, wires, and other equipment, facilities, and systems designed to supply heat, ventilation, air conditioning and humidity or any other services or utilities, or comprising or serving as any component or portion of the electrical, gas, steam, plumbing, sprinkler, communications, alarm, lab, security, or fire/life safety systems or equipment, or any other mechanical, electrical, electronic, computer or other systems or equipment which serve the Building and/or any other building in the Project in whole or in part.

  • The Works/Project means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Information technology services means services designed to do any of the following:

  • Construction activity means any clearing, grading or excavation associated with large construction activity or associated with small construction activity.

  • Discovery Area means that part of the Contract Area about which, based upon Discovery and the results obtained from a Well or Xxxxx drilled in such part, the Contractor is of the opinion that Petroleum exists and is likely to be produced in commercial quantities.

  • Home improvement contractor or "contractor" means a person who sells goods and services, or agrees to furnish or render services, to a retail buyer pursuant to a home improvement installment contract, or sells goods and services to a retail buyer pursuant to a home improvement charge agreement, but not in connection with construction of new homes.

  • Construction Works means all works and things necessary to complete the Project in accordance with this Agreement;

  • Sewage works means all facilities for collecting, pumping, treating, and disposing of sewage.

  • Construction material means an article, material, or supply brought to the construction site by the Contractor or a subcontractor for incorporation into the building or work. The term also includes an item brought to the site preassembled from articles, materials, or supplies. However, emergency life safety systems, such as emergency lighting, fire alarm, and audio evacuation systems, that are discrete systems incorporated into a public building or work and that are produced as complete systems, are evaluated as a single and distinct construction material regardless of when or how the individual parts or components of those systems are delivered to the construction site. Materials purchased directly by the Government are supplies, not construction material.

  • Manufacturing means the production, preparation, propagation, conversion or processing of a drug or device, either directly or indirectly, by extraction from substances of natural origin or independently by means of chemical or biological synthesis, and includes any packaging or repackaging of the substances or labeling or relabeling of its container, and the promotion and marketing of such drugs and devices. Manufacturing also includes the preparation and promotion of commercially available products from bulk compounds for resale by pharmacists, practitioners, or other persons.

  • Outdoor cultivation means the cultivation of mature cannabis without the use of artificial lighting or light deprivation in the canopy area at any point in time. Artificial lighting is permissible only to maintain immature plants outside the canopy area.

  • Construction and demolition waste means solid waste resulting from the construction, repair, or demolition of buildings, roads and other structures, and debris from the clearing of land, but does not include clean fill when separated from other construction and demolition wastes and used as fill materials or otherwise land disposed. Such waste typically consists of materials including concrete, bricks, bituminous concrete, asphalt paving, untreated or chemically treated wood, glass, masonry, roofing, siding, plaster; and soils, rock, stumps, boulders, brush and other similar material. This term does not include industrial solid waste and municipal solid waste generated in residential or commercial activities associated with construction and demolition activities.

  • recreational craft means a ship of any type, regardless of the means of propulsion, intended for sports or leisure purposes;
