UNION/MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. The F.O.P. and the University shall upon request of either party schedule mutually agreed upon meetings for the purpose of reviewing the administration of the Agreement and to discuss problems, which may have arisen. Such meetings shall not occur more than twice annually. Such meetings are not intended to by- pass the grievance procedure or to be considered negotiating meetings, but are intended to be a means of fostering good employer-employee relations. Such meetings may be attended by the one (1) representatives employed by the University, who shall not lose pay for time spent during their regularly scheduled working hours at such meetings. If the representative is not available the FOP President may attend in his or her place who may or may not be an employee of the University.

The Union and the Company shall each designate not more than two (2) representatives to a labor-management committee for this purpose. It is intended that such meeting occur not more than four (4) times a year.

The Union's representatives shall consist of an Union Staff Representative and such other Union representatives as (s)he may from time to time invite not to exceed five (5) in number. Problems of mutual concern, including conditions tending to cause misunderstandings, shall be considered and recommendations made to either the Medical Center or the Union, or both, by the persons present at any conference.

Each party will give the other party the names of its duly authorized representatives and evidence of their authority to act.

Representatives of the Local Union and representatives of the Board may confer at any time upon the request of either, with the consent of the other party to consider matters of general interest or concern other than grievances. Such conference shall take place at a mutually convenient time and place, and may be attended by no more than five (5) Union representatives employed by the Board who shall not lose pay for time spent during their regular working hours at such conferences. Such conference may be attended by Council No. 73 representatives.
