Superintendent of Schools. If the grievance is not resolved by the immediate supervisor, the grievant(s) or association may refer the grievance to the Superintendent within five (5) days of the immediate supervisor’s written disposition of the grievance. The Superintendent shall arrange with the grievant for a meeting to take place as soon as possible, but not later than five (5) days after receipt of said disposition. Within five (5) days after the meeting, the grievant/association shall be provided with the Superintendent’s written response, including reasons for the decision.

If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of grievance at Level One, or if no decision has been rendered within five (5) days after presentation of the grievance in writing, he/she must file the formal written grievance with the Association's committee within three (3) days after the decision at Level One.

Superintendent of Schools. If the aggrieved party is not satisfied with the disposition of its grievance at Step 1, the aggrieved party must file a written grievance with the Superintendent within seven (7) school days of the receipt of the principal’s answer. The Superintendent or his designee will meet with the aggrieved party, his principal or immediate supervisor, or both, in an effort to resolve the grievance. Such a meeting will take place within seven (7) days after receipt of the grievance by the Superintendent. The Superintendent shall, within seven (7) school days after this meeting, render his decision, in writing, to the aggrieved party.
