Association Bargaining Team. Employees covered by this Agreement will be represented in negotiations by not more than six (6) negotiating committee members from the bargaining unit and such other Association representatives as the Association shall determine. All bargaining by the parties shall occur during non-working hours unless the parties mutually agree to bargain during the work day. The parties agree to enter into negotiations on a new Agreement on wages, hours and other conditions of employment at least thirty (30) and not more than ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of this Agreement.

Association Bargaining Team. Neither party in any negotiations shall have control over the selection of the negotiating or bargaining representatives of the other party. The parties mutually pledge that their representatives will be clothed with all necessary power and authority to make proposals, consider proposals, and make concessions in the course ofnegotiations.
Association Bargaining Team. The Association's negotiation team shall be permitted to attend negotiation meetings with the City without loss of pay relative to securing contract renewal. Not more than four (4) members of the negotiation team may be on duty while participating in negotiation meetings and no more than two (2) on-duty Association participants may be from any single division. The dates, times, and places for these negotiating sessions shall be established by mutual agreement between the parties. On duty time for bargaining sessions will not result in payment of overtime to bargaining team members for any hours in the pay period. Officers may need to adjust their normal schedules to avoid overtime. The overtime limitation does not apply to emergency call outs or other duty related overtime.

  • Union Bargaining Committee A Union Bargaining Committee shall be appointed by the Union and shall consist of up to three (3) members of the Union together with the President of the Union or her designate. The Union shall have the right at any time to have the assistance of members of the staff of the Union when negotiating with the Employer.

  • Local Bargaining Committee The Hospital agrees to recognize a negotiating committee comprised of hospital employee representatives of the Union for the purpose of negotiating a renewal agreement (as set out in the Local Provisions Appendix). The Hospital agrees to pay members of the negotiating committee for straight time wages lost from their regularly scheduled working hours spent in direct negotiations for a renewal agreement, up to but not including arbitration. Nothing in this provision is intended to preclude the Union negotiating committee from having the assistance of any representatives of the Canadian Union of Public Employees when negotiating with the Hospital.

  • Bargaining Unit Information The Employer agrees to provide the Union such information relating to Employees in the bargaining unit as may be required by the Union for the purpose of collective bargaining.

  • Sole Bargaining Agency The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole bargaining agency on behalf of the employees for whom the Union has been certified as bargaining agent with respect to wages, hours of work, terms and conditions of employment during the life of this Agreement.

  • Central Bargaining Committee (a) In central bargaining between the Canadian Union of Public Employees and the participating hospitals, an employee serving on the Union's Central Negotiating Committee shall be paid for time lost from his normal straight time working hours at his regular rate of pay and without loss of leave credits for attending central negotiating meetings with the Hospitals' Central Negotiating Committee in direct negotiations up to the point of arbitration. In addition, an employee serving on the Union’s Central Negotiating Committee shall be paid for time lost from his normal straight time working hours at his regular rate of pay and without loss of leave credits for two (2) days of preparation time for such central negotiating meetings with the Hospital’s Central negotiating Committee. Upon reference to arbitration, the Negotiating Committee members shall receive unpaid time off for the purpose of attending arbitration hearings. It is understood and agreed that the maximum number of Union Central Negotiating Committee members entitled to payment under this provision shall be eight (8), and in no case will more than one employee from a hospital be entitled to such payment. The Union shall advise the Hospitals' Central Negotiating Committee, before negotiations commence, of those employees to be paid under this provision. The Hospitals' Central Negotiating Committee shall advise the eight (8) Hospitals accordingly.

  • Bargaining Unit Roster Upon the signing of this Agreement and monthly thereafter, the Employer shall supply to the Union via a secured method an alphabetical list of all employees covered by this Agreement. The list shall include the name, address, employee identification number, date of hire, rehire date (if applicable), shift, FTE, job classification, department cost center number, unit, hourly rate of pay and monthly gross earnings. Each month, the Employer will provide a list of new hires and addresses, and a list of all employees who have terminated during the month via a secured method. The new hire and termination lists shall include the same data as the monthly employee roster except for monthly gross earnings. The termination list shall include the termination date. Within ninety (90) days of ratification, Swedish Medical Center and SEIU 1199NW will convene a work group including HRIS expert to explore a method for the Employer to provide a list of all employment changes for bargaining unit employees, via a secure site.

  • Bargaining Committee (a) A Union Bargaining Committee shall be appointed and consist of not more than five (5) members of the Union. The Union will advise the Employer of the Union Nominees to the Committee (an alternate shall be permitted to replace an absent Bargaining Committee Member).

  • Local Bargaining 2.4.1 Notwithstanding section 59(2) of the Labour Relations Code, a notice to commence local bargaining by a School Division or the Association must be served after, but not more than 60 days after, the collective agreement referred to in section 11(4) of PECBA has been ratified or the central terms have otherwise been settled.

  • Policy Grievance – Union Grievance The Union may institute a grievance alleging a general misinterpretation or violation of this Agreement by the Employer by submitting a written grievance at Step No. 1 within twenty (20) days after the circumstances have occurred. This section shall not apply to disciplinary grievances or application of competitive clauses under this Agreement.

  • SCOPE OF BARGAINING 3.1 The Board and the Association agree to negotiate in good faith on wages, hours, fringe benefits and other terms and conditions of employment.
