Protective Clothing and Devices. Any uniform, protective clothing or protective device required by the Town of the employees covered by this Agreement shall be furnished at no cost to the employee provided, however any such items shall be replaced only due to normal wear and tear during the course of performing duties for the Normal Fire Department. Further, when in the determination of the Town it is deemed necessary or desirable for such clothing and protective devices to comply with NFPA 1500 standards, the Town will do so at no cost to the employee. The Town agrees to start a 10 year rotation for protective clothing (turn out gear).

Protective Clothing and Devices. The city shall furnish protective clothing and equipment as follows for use by an employee when an employee is required to use such by the city:
Protective Clothing and Devices. If an employee is required to wear protective clothing, eye glasses, or any other type of protective devices, such clothing, eye glasses, or protective devices shall be furnished and maintained by the Employer.
Protective Clothing and Devices. If an employee is required to wear protective clothing, or any type of protective device as a condition of employment, such protective clothing or protective device shall be furnished by the City. The cost of repairing and maintaining the protective clothing (not lost or damaged by negligence) and protective device in proper working condition shall be paid by the City. For this purpose of this Article, protective clothing and protective device shall mean those items which are required, as determined by the City and set forth in the City Safety/Wellness Manual, to protect employees from existing or potential safety hazards. All items provided as protective clothing or devices remain the property of the City and are only to be used in accordance with the Department rules. Upon separation, all items, other than those worn out through normal use, must be returned (or paid for) by the employee before their final paycheck will be issued.
Protective Clothing and Devices. The Employer shall provide necessary rain gear, gloves, glasses and other equipment to properly protect the employees from injury and inclement weather. Effective January 1, 2007, the Employer shall provide each employee with one pair of boots each year. The Employer shall not be responsible for the replacement of any item unless same was surrendered to the Employer.

Lost articles or damage to articles due to negligence, shall be reimbursed to the City by the employee. The City shall provide a safe place for the storage of such articles. Failure of an employee to wear such required uniform, protective clothing or boots, or use such protective device as prescribed by the City shall be cause for disciplinary action as set forth in Article Xl hereof.
Protective Clothing and Devices. Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) are required to provide the relevant protective gears/clothing on a replacement basis as outlined in Circular No. 21 Ref.   • Protective Clothing and Equipment The Employer recognizes the safety concerns of all staff and shall provide all employees whose work requires them to wear protective equipment with the necessary equipment and protective clothing. This committee may make recommendations on such equipment (e.g., gloves, long sleeved gowns, masks, goggles). These shall be maintained and replaced, where necessary, at the Employer's expense. Where the committee recommends the wearing of such protective clothing and equipment, and the Employer implements such recommendation, employees are obligated to comply with such recommendation(s).

  • Protective Clothing 14.1 The Employer will be required to provide the following protective equipment (SAA approved) for use, when necessary, by employees during the performance of their required duties:

  • Protective Clothing & Equipment While not being part of any issue of protective clothing/equipment, the company shall be required to provide the following protective equipment (SAA approved) for use, when necessary, by employees during the performance of their required duties:

  • Uniforms and Protective Clothing 28.1 Where the employer requires an employee to wear a uniform, it shall be provided free of charge, but shall remain the property of the employer.

  • Retraining for Positions within the Hospital Where, with the benefit of retraining of up to six (6) months, an employee who has either accepted the layoff or who is unable to displace any other employee could be redeployed to a hospital position identified by the Redeployment Committee in accordance with Article 9.08(d)(i):

  • Industrial Relations Training Leave 53.1 Union Delegate/Employee Representative shall have access to industrial relations training in accordance with Appendix E hereof.
