Permits and Notifications. Upon notice to proceed and prior to mobilization, the Contractor will prepare and secure the applicable permits, licenses, and notifications necessary for executing the asbestos abatement, cleaning, and demolition tasks. In addition to the Federal (NESHAP notification) and State of Oregon (ASN-1) requirements, the site is located within the City limits of Chiloquin and may require local permits or notifications. The Contractor is required to submit draft applications/notifications to the Owner’s Representative for review and approval at least 3 days prior to submittal to any regulatory authority. A copy of the finalized documentation must be present during operations.

Permits and Notifications. A. Secure necessary permits in conjunction with asbestos removal, hauling, and disposition and provide timely notification as may be required by federal, state, regional, and local authorities. Notify the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards (DLS) and provide copies of the notification to the Designer, Asbestos Project Monitor, and the State Environmental Regulatory Agency 10 working days (Document Submission Date) prior to commencement of the work.
Permits and Notifications. The Contractor shall secure the necessary permits in conjunction with asbestos removal, hauling and disposal and provide timely notifications of such actions as may be required by federal, state, regional, and local authorities. When required, notifications will be sent to the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry and USEPA Region III twenty (20) days and (10) days, respectively, prior to commencement of the work. Copies of all permits and notifications will be provided to the University.
Permits and Notifications. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for obtaining all permits necessary for demolition of each structure prior to commencing the work. Permits costs shall be included in the Demolition bid item. Permits shall include but are not limited to:  Obtaining a demolition permit to be posted for the duration of demolition  Completing & submitting and obtaining an Erosion & Sediment Control Permit (if applicable)  Completing & submitting an Asbestos Notification of Demolition to IDEM. Must be submitted 10 working days prior to the demolition of the structure(s). The CONTRACTOR shall give any necessary notification of the demolitions to IDEM, EPA or any other r e q u i r e d notifications by Local, State or Federal government. Any fees associated with such notifications shall be included in the Bid price for demolition. Prior to performing work, the CONTRACTOR will be responsible for verification that asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and other identified hazardous wastes or materials are removed from the structure in accordance with Federal, State and Local Regulations. Non-regulated category 1 non-friable asbestos may remain in place during demolition activities if the criteria listed in the Demolition Survey recommendations are adhered to. If additional AMC is encountered during demolition activities, the CONTRACTOR shall stop work immediately. The CONTRACTOR shall assign the removal of regulated asbestos containing materials to an asbestos removal CONTRACTOR licensed with the State of Indiana. The CONTRACTOR shall submit to the OWNER documentation certifying that regulated asbestos was removed from the properties and shall follow all rules and regulations regarding asbestos removal. The OWNER shall not be held liable for actions or damages caused by the CONTRACTOR or his subcontractors if asbestos is not properly removed & disposed during demolition activities. All abatement activities must be conducted in accordance with requirements set forth by Federal, State and Local Regulations. The Contractor shall indemnify and hold the Owner and Recipient harmless for any and all fines or fees assessed by a regulatory agency and/ or if the Contractor fails to abide and comply with the permitting process and/or applicable Federal, State, and/ or Local Regulations. Permits and Notifications is the cost for preparation and filing of a Notice of Asbestos / Demolition Activities with the Texas Department of State Health Service and preparing and submitting, along with the appropriate fee, a City of Corpus Christi Demolition Permit Application.

A copy of each permit shall be submitted to the Engineer. All fees associated with these permits shall be paid by the Contractor as part of the work.   • LAWS, LICENSES, PERMITS AND REGULATIONS Contractor and County agree to comply with all State laws and regulations that pertain to construction, health and safety, labor, minimum wage, fair employment practice, equal opportunity, and all other matters applicable to Contractor and County, their sub-grantees, Contractors, or subcontractor, and their work.
