Part-Time Employee Coverage. For the purposes of eligibility for health, dental, and life insurance coverage, full-time employees are those who are employed thirty (30) hours or more of a standard work week and part-time employees are those who are employed less than thirty (30) hours of a standard work week.

Part-Time Employee Coverage. 7 In the event the County elects to employ part-time employees in 8 positions covered by this Agreement, the County will bargain with the Association 9 regarding the terms of coverage, consistent with applicable law.

Part-Time Employee Coverage. Individual unit members who are employed for less than full-time shall receive a pro-rata allocation toward medical benefit credit to purchase coverage through one of the District offered plans provided for under this Article and pay the difference of the premium to the District. Payments must be made monthly, one (1) month in advance, by payroll deduction. Unit members who wish to purchase coverage in one of the District Offered plans must do so within 30 days of initial part-time employment, upon receiving a subsequent increase in the FTE work assignment, or by providing written documentation of loss of paid insurance coverage from another source. Unit members who enroll in one of the District's coverage, and subsequently drop the coverage, may renew the coverage, only upon receiving a subsequent increase in the FTE work assignment, by providing written documentation of loss of paid insurance coverage from another source, or during the next open enrollment period in May.

Part-Time Employee Coverage a. Effective January 1, 1998, persons working twenty (20) hours or less per week shall not receive any hospital-surgical-medical, dental, optical benefits. Persons who were eligible for benefits prior to January 1, 1998, shall be grand-personed at their current level. Any increase in hospital-surgical- medical, dental, and/or optical benefits shall only be given to those employees who work more than twenty (20) hours per week.

  • Employee Coverage For employee dental coverage, the Employer contributes an amount equal to the lesser of ninety percent (90%) of the employee premium of the State Dental Plan, or the actual employee premium of the dental plan chosen by the employee. However, for calendar years beginning January 1, 2019, the minimum employee contribution shall be thirteen dollars and fifty cents ($13.50) per month.

  • Canceling Employee Coverage A part-time employee may also cancel employee coverage within sixty (60) days of when one of the life events set forth above occurs.

The Employer shall make available to those retirees who are properly enrolled in the Part B Medicare Program as above provided, a Supplemental Plan, with a $100 deductible. Such Plan will have the same Rx drug benefits the County provides its active employees. In the event Rx drug benefits for active employees are eliminated in their entirety, which shall include a change to a one-hundred (100%) percent employee contributory health savings plan, the Rx drug benefits last in effect for retirees preceding the elimination of the Rx drug benefits for active employees shall remain in effect (absent a contrary order from a Court of competent jurisdiction) until the Employer again provides Rx drug benefits to active employees.
