Certified Employees definition

Certified Employees means any person holding a valid certificate authorizing the person to teach, supervise an instructional program, counselor provide special instructional services in the public schools of the State of New Mexico.
Certified Employees means those employees who fill school or educational assignments requiring the issuance of a certificate. These employees in the Office of Career and Technical Education are subject to personnel administration under KRS 156.800 to 156.860;

Certified Employees means any professional person who is employed by the District to perform educational services requiring licensure by the Utah State Board of Education and who holds a valid license for his/her position. Certified Employees do not include: Superintendent; Assistant Superintendents; Business Administrator; Assistant Business Administrators; Legal Counsel; Directors; Principals; Assistant Principals; Coordinators; Supervisors; Risk Managers; Classified Employees; or Nurses.

  • Specified Employees means the employees identified on Schedule 6.

  • Specified Employee means an employee who at the time of Separation from Service is a key employee of the Bank, if any stock of the Bank is publicly traded on an established securities market or otherwise.   • Qualified individual with a disability means an individual with a disability who satisfies the requisite skill, experience, education and other job-related requirements of the employment position such individual holds or desires, and who, with or without reasonable accommodation, can perform the essential functions of such position.

  • Tipped employee means any employee engaged in an occupation in which he customarily and regularly receives more than $30 a month in tips.

A Separation from Service may occur as of a specified date for purposes of the Agreement even if the Executive continues to provide some services for the Employer or its Affiliates after that date, provided that the facts and circumstances indicate that the Employer and the Executive reasonably anticipated at that date that either no further services would be performed after that date, or that the level of bona fide services the Executive would perform after such date (whether as an employee or as an independent contractor) would permanently decrease to no more than twenty percent (20%) of the average level of bona fide services performed over the immediately preceding thirty-six (36) month period (or the full period during which the Executive performed services for the Employer, if that is less than thirty-six (36) months). A Separation from Service will not be deemed to have occurred while the Executive is on military leave, sick leave, or other bona fide leave of absence if the period of such leave does not exceed six (6) months or, if longer, the period for which a statute or contract provides the Executive with the right to reemployment with the Employer. If the Executive’s leave exceeds six (6) months but the Executive is not entitled to reemployment under a statute or contract, the Executive incurs a Separation of Service on the next day following the expiration of such six (6) month period. In determining whether a Separation of Service occurs the Administrator shall take into account, among other things, the definition of “service recipient” and “employer” set forth in Treasury regulation §1.409A-1(h)(3). The Administrator shall have full and final authority, to determine conclusively whether a Separation from Service occurs, and the date of such Separation from Service.

  • Disabled individual means a person older than 13 years of age who by reason of age or physical or mental disease, defect, or injury is substantially unable to protect the person's self from harm or to provide food, shelter, or medical care for the person's self.

  • Newly hired employee or “new hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full time, part time, hired by the District, and who is still employed as of the date of the new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the District and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employee’s employee status changed such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.
