Leave Accruals. Accumulated annual leave, personal leave, and sick leave balances will automatically be frozen for the duration of the leave of absence. The employee will not accrue leave credits during the leave of absence.

Leave Accruals. Unpaid leaves of absence of thirty (30) calendar days or less shall not affect an employee's leave accruals. However, after the thirtieth (30th) calendar day of an unpaid leave of absence, the employee will not accrue additional vacation, sick, or personal leave. If an employee has more than one unpaid leave for the same purpose, the 30 calendar days shall be counted on an accumulated basis.
Leave Accruals. Accrual rates under the current MOU for sick leave, vacation leave, compensatorytime, and holiday pay will not be affected by the Plan.
