Leave Accruals. Accumulated annual leave, personal leave, and sick leave balances will automatically be frozen for the duration of the leave of absence. The employee will not accrue leave credits during the leave of absence.
Leave Accruals. A Roads Services employee on Alert shift during a 10 normally scheduled workday will receive vacation and sick leave accruals for the first eight (8) hours 11 worked if regularly assigned to a 5/8 work schedule, or ten (10) hours if regularly assigned to a 4/10 12 work schedule in accordance with Sections 5.1 and 5.1.1, respectively.

A Fleet Services employee on Alert shift during a 18 normally scheduled workday will receive vacation and sick leave accruals for the first eight (8) hours 19 worked if regularly assigned to a 5-8 work schedule, or ten (10) hours if regularly assigned to a 4-10 20 work schedule, in accordance with the CLA Articles 31 and 32, respectively.

An employee on Alert shift during a normally scheduled 6 workday will receive vacation and sick leave accruals for the first eight (8) hours worked if regularly 7 assigned to a 5/8 work schedule, or ten (10) hours if regularly assigned to a 4/10 work schedule in 8 accordance with Sections 9.1 and 10.1, respectively.
Leave Accruals. Paid leaves specified in Articles 9.3 (Vacation), 9.5A (Floating Holidays) and 9.6 (Personal Leave) herein are accrued throughout the contract year. If the employee is hired after the start of the contract year, the leaves specified herein shall be prorated to reflect the start date of the employee. If an employee separates from employment during the contract year and it is determined that said employee has overused their accrued paid leave, the district will deduct the overused leave from the employee’s final paycheck or seek reimbursement. With the exception of accrued vacation leave, unused leave days will not be payable to the employee upon separation of employment.
Leave Accruals a. Eligible employees may use FMLA leave up to twelve (12) weeks in a twelve (12) month period and continue to receive their health benefits in accordance with Article 21.
Leave Accruals. Accrual rates under the current MOU for sick leave, vacation leave, compensatorytime, and holiday pay will not be affected by the Plan.
Leave Accruals. Unpaid leaves of absence of thirty (30) calendar days or less shall not affect an employee's leave accruals. However, after the thirtieth (30th) calendar day of an unpaid leave of absence, the employee will not accrue additional vacation, sick, or personal leave. If an employee has more than one unpaid leave for the same purpose, the 30 calendar days shall be counted on an accumulated basis.
