Scheduled Workday. Workers covered by this MOU will not have a scheduled workday reduced in whole or in part to compensate for time they are ordered to work in excess of another regularly scheduled workday.

Scheduled Workday. Employees covered by this Memorandum of Understanding will not have a scheduled workday reduced in whole or in part to compensate for time which they are ordered to work in excess of another regularly scheduled workday.
Scheduled Workday. Any day an employee is assigned to work in accordance with their position specification (includes days for which employee is assigned to work on an overtime basis, if any).

The City's policy is that employees are to receive one (1) fifteen (15) minute rest period for each four (4) hours worked. The Union recognizes that under extenuating circumstances which are considered the exception to practice, an employee may not be able to take said rest period.

Scheduled Workday. All full-time employees reporting for work on their scheduled workday shall be guaranteed a full day’s work of eight (8) hours with pay; except if a full-time employee is scheduled to work six (6) days in any workweek, he/she shall be guaranteed four (4) hours’ work on the sixth (6th) day. The four (4) hour day need not be the actual sixth (6th) day, but may be, in the Employer’s discretion, any one (1) of the workdays in the weekly work schedule except Sunday. Time and one-half (12) shall be paid on said sixth (6th) day, contingent upon the employee’s completion of his or her scheduled workweek, provided that all time over eight (8) hours in any one (1) day or forty (40) hours in any one (1) week shall be paid at the overtime rate.

  • Scheduled Overtime Scheduled overtime is overtime which is assigned by the end of the employee's last worked shift prior to the overtime assignment and which does not immediately precede or immediately follow a scheduled work shift. Unless notified otherwise in advance of the scheduled starting time of the scheduled overtime assignment, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as scheduled shall be assigned at least two (2) hours work. If work is not available, the employee may be excused from duty and paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing two (2) hours of work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate.
