Unpaid Leave of Absence definition

Unpaid Leave of Absence means that a unit member shall be entitled to the same benefits accorded unit members who are on paid leave, excluding wages and benefits.

Unpaid Leave of Absence means that a unit member shall not be entitled to District paid wages or benefits while on leave. However, contingent upon approval with the insurance carrier, unit members on any unpaid leave of absence shall, at their own expense, be permitted to participate in all insurance programs.
