Lead Positions. The County shall establish Lead positions as necessary to provide for departmental and staffing needs. In addition to regular position duties, employees assigned to Lead positions are generally responsible for organizing work flow, ensuring adequate tools and/or supplies, and directing, coordinating, monitoring, training, providing feedback, and/or checking the work of the employees over whom the lead person is assigned. Employees assigned to Lead positions are not responsible, and have no authority, to approve leave, discipline, hire, terminate or perform formal evaluations of employees; although they may have input into any of these processes. Lead positions shall be established as County positions and shall be identified as such, with the Lead designation affixed to the position title as a suffix. The pay grade assigned to the Lead position shall be two (2) pay grades higher than the position(s) over which the lead is assigned.

Lead Positions. During the term of this Agreement the Employer may implement up to three (3) Lead Positions in each store. The Lead Positions are to be identified as Receiver, Night Crew Leader and 4th Person. The individual designated to Lead Position shall be vested with sufficient authority to direct and control his or her area of responsibility, including, but not limited to, the direction of other employees, compliance with store and company policies, customer and vendor relations and the timely completion of all tasks assigned by supervisors. In addition to the above, the exercise of independent judgment in carrying out Lead Position responsibilities shall be a primary criterion of the assignment. No Receiver, Night Crew Leader or 4th Person shall be demoted from that position because of deficient performance in the job without first having received a prior warning notice in writing, copy to the Union, calling attention to his deficiencies. If the Lead Position is eliminated for any reason the individual may reclaim his or her former position without loss of seniority.
Lead Positions. Employees who hold lead positions, with district-wide responsibilities, and oversee seven 32 (7) or more employees will receive a $75.00 per month stipend. 34 Employees who hold lead positions, with district-wide responsibilities, and oversee five (5) 35 or six (6) employees will receive a $50.00 per month stipend. 37 11. Child Nutrition Managers will receive a stipend of $50.00 per month ($500 annually) for ten months when 38 they have three (3) or more Child Nutrition Programs.

This qualification will be awarded by Company selection from volunteers from the CLP workgroup. Lead Positions. 1. In all stores, the Company agrees to create and/or maintain a Union Position of Office Lead where there is no Office Manager, Back Door Receiver Lead, POS Lead, Beer & Wine Lead (in stores with a Beer & Wine department) in Pennsylvania, Fuel Station Lead (where a Fuel Station exists on the Giant Eagle pad site covered by this Agreement), and Liquor Lead (West Virginia Locations), and Specialty Foods Lead in Market District stores only.
Lead Positions. 19.5.1 A position which is classified as a lead is one which provides technical and functional direction to other workers. The position can assign work to others, and can provide training to others. The lead position cannot evaluate, hire, or discipline workers. The lead position may provide information to the supervisor to be used in the evaluation or discipline of workers the position is assigned to lead.
Lead Positions. Temporary openings in lead positions will be filled in seniority order from a list of qualified employees. It is understood that none of the provision of this Section nor its application shall entail a “bumping” procedure.
