Four-Ten Work Schedules. The parties may mutually agree to establish four day, ten hour work schedules. The schedules will have three consecutive days off. For the purposes of this section, the agreement of the ATU must be in writing, signed by the President of the ATU. Paid time off for employees on Four Ten assignment will be in accordance with the following: Sick Leave: Payment under Article 32 Section B is at the rate of ten (10) hours per day from the employee's Sick Leave accrual. Otherwise Article 32 applies.

Overtime is time worked in excess of forty (40) hours in a workweek. A vacation week will always equal forty (40) hours of time off. The employee’s scheduled vacation week will be changed to a five-day (5), Monday through Friday, eight (8) hour schedule. Vacation weeks taken a day-at-a-time should be converted to hours for administrative purposes. A vacation day will be ten (10) hours unless the remaining balance of vacation hours is less than ten (10) hours. Personal days off specified in Section 4.08 of the Memorandum will be eight (8) hours. An employee’s work schedule during a holiday week shall normally be the same as though it were not a holiday week. If the holiday falls on a scheduled day, and the employee is scheduled off, the Company will pay eight (8) hours of holiday pay at straight time. If the employee wishes to be paid the remaining two (2) hours, the employee may use available vacation, personal days off or absence time. If the employee does not wish to be paid, the time will be unpaid excused. An employee who works the holiday will be paid as follows:
Four-Ten Work Schedules. The Company may establish a four (4) day ten (10) consecutive hour work schedule for full-time employees. Monday through Friday shall constitute a week’s work. An employee is entitled to at least two consecutive scheduled days off on Saturday and Sunday, and the third scheduled day off shall be based on the operational needs of the business. A maximum of 25%, with a minimum of four (4) full-time bids may be on a 4/10 work schedule. Any 4/10’s above the 25% are subject to mutual agreement of the Company and the Union. A normal work day shall consist of ten (10) consecutive hours for a 4/10 work schedule. All work performed in excess thereof in any one (1) day or excess of forty (40) hours in one (1) week shall be considered overtime and shall be paid for at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) the regular straight time rate of pay. An employee on a 4/10 work schedule that is called into work on their scheduled day off, shall be guaranteed eight (8) hours of work or pay at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½).

  • Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the work schedules meet federal and state laws.

  • NORMAL WORK SCHEDULES 112. Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement, a “normal work day” is a tour of duty of eight (8) hours completed within not more than nine (9) hours. The normal work week for employees covered by this agreement is 40 hours.

  • Flexible Work Schedules (a) Academic Professional staff members throughout the University may have, as indicated below, flexible work schedules. For example, Academic Professionals often travel on University business and/or work evenings and weekends.   • Alternative Work Schedules Alternative work schedule means an approved schedule for an Employee that deviates from the work week described in Section 1, Section 2, or a schedule that deviates from a worksite’s normal schedule. Employees who work a “shift work schedule” as part of a rotating group of individuals who must continuously maintain a 24-hour operation or facility are not eligible for an alternative work schedule.

  • Construction Schedules 10.1 Within seven (7) days of the University’s issuance of a purchase order, the Contractor shall submit to the Project Coordinator three (3) copies of a Construction Schedule for this Project. The Schedule shall be in bar chart form and shall include all aspects of the work, the interrelationship of the various trades and the critical path of the job. The schedule shall include a timeline for the submission, review and approval of shop drawings for critical path items and delivery and installation dates for those same critical path, or long lead time items, (such as electrical transformers and elevator). The Schedule shall coincide with the Contractor’s approved Schedule of Values. The Schedule shall indicate a completion date in advance of the date established for Substantial Completion. The Schedule shall be acceptable to the Architect/Engineer and the Project Coordinator. It shall be revised and reissued at the beginning of every month for the duration of the project. This monthly update progress Schedule shall include a summary comparison of the original schedule and the latest updated schedule (previous month) showing all activity description and dates. These comparison schedules shall be in the form of a summary bar chart, an activity listing report and actual to target comparisons. The reports may include critical activities, float time, duration of each activity, dates of each activity and the network logic (including successors and predecessors of each activity). Included with the written report and electronic copy of the schedule submission noting the above referenced requirements. Failure to provide the Architect/Engineer, or the Project Coordinator with an acceptable, revised Schedule, within seven (7) days of the receipt of a written request, may result in the withholding of the Contractor’s monthly progress payments until such a Schedule is received.

  • Changes in Work Schedules (a) In situations other than emergencies, the scheduled employees are entitled to forty-eight (48) hours notice of any change in their respective work schedules.

  • Alternate Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established for overtime-eligible employees by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the alternate work schedules meet federal and state law. When there is a holiday, employees may be required to switch from their alternate work schedules to regular work schedules.

  • Work Schedule A 4/10 work schedule is four (4) ten hour days in a seven (7) day period, for a total of forty (40) hours per week.

  • Regular Work Schedules The regular work schedule for overtime-eligible employees will not be more than forty (40) hours in a workweek, with two (2) consecutive calendar days off and starting and ending times as determined by the requirements of the position and the Employer. The Employer may adjust the regular work schedule with prior notice to the employee.

  • Four Day Work Week Schedule i. When working under the four (4) day work week schedule, Employees shall be paid at double time (2x) the regular hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of the regular ten (10) hours per day Monday through Thursday.
