Vacation Day definition

Vacation Day means a calendar day scheduled in accordance with Article 28, free of all duty.

Vacation Day is hereby defined as one day of absence by EMPLOYEE from his/her daily duties on a weekday other than a legal or EMPLOYER holiday, not as a result of sickness or injury. Vacation days shall not accrue from year to year. In the event of termination hereof, unused vacation days shall be compensated for at EMPLOYEE's then rate of compensation.

Vacation Day means a single day of unavailability credited against the employee's annual vacation entitlement pursuant to Clause 18.1(a)(b)&(c) – Vacation Entitlement. Vacation schedules shall be consistent with the Hours of Work defined in Clause 14.1 – Normal Straight-Time Hours of Work.
