Consecutive Days Off. The Employer shall schedule consecutive days off for all full-time employees except where a full-time employee requests otherwise. Where possible, part-time employees shall have consecutive days off every second week. Where it can be demonstrated by the Shop Xxxxxxx, to the Employer’s satisfaction, that scheduling of consecutive days off can be accomplished without an adverse effect on the operation of the department, the Employer shall do so.
Consecutive Days Off. Each Employee shall receive two (2) consecutive days off in each week unless otherwise agreed.

Two days off a week will be scheduled consecutively and no employee shall be required to work more than five consecutive days without two days off, unless otherwise provided in the Component Agreements. This Clause shall not apply to a casual auxiliary employee hired expressly to replace employees who are on sick leave or vacation.

The Union and the Employer recognize that the scheduling of consecutive days off combinations varies from store to store in accordance with the operational requirements of the department and the preferences of the employees. Effective Sunday after ratification and contingent on the continuing operational and staffing requirements of the department, the weekly work schedule will provide full-time employees with their current pattern of days off. In addition, wherever practical, A.T.O. days shall also be scheduled with consecutive days off. In consultation with Store Management , where it can be demonstrated by the Shop Xxxxxxx that scheduling of consecutive days off with A.T.O. can be accomplished without an adverse affect on the operation of the department, the Employer shall do so. In consultation with Store Management non-consecutive days off may be arranged by mutual agreement between the employee(s) provided it does not result in any other employee(s) not getting consecutive days off. Where it can be demonstrated by the Union that the scheduling of consecutive days off and A.T.O. can be accomplished, the Union and the Employer shall meet to determine a method of solution.
