ECONOMIC PACKAGE. Section 33.1. It is understood that in arriving at an economic package for employee covered by this Agreement during the tenure of this Agreement that all past practices and customary procedures of the parties that have not been previously amended by this Agreement or as have not been amended by subsequent provision hereof, shall remain in effect and are mutually adopted by the parties. It is the intention hereof to reaffirm all the ordinances, resolutions and enactments of City Council pertaining to the Bargaining Unit except as the terms of this Agreement amend or may be in conflict therewith. The parties agree that if the specific terms of this Agreement are in conflict with past legislation or past practices, then the provisions hereof shall preempt and prevail. During the term of this Agreement, the parties recognize that employees shall not lose or be diminished in economic benefits previously accorded to them save and except emergency measures reserved to management such as necessary layoffs, leaves of absence, decrease in staff or hours worked, etc. Utilizing such past enactments and practices as a base, the following economic amendments as set forth in Section 33.3 are made thereto during the duration of this Agreement:

Dispatch Supervisors shall be paid 11% more than the highest dispatcher wage. The “after 7 years” step increase is eliminated from the Dispatch pay chart so that Officers and Dispatchers receive pay increases at the same intervals. Disp Xxxxx and Disp Labis shall move to the “After 5 years” step on their hiring anniversaries in 2017. As of January 1st, 2016, all new Full-time Dispatch hires will receive compensation and years of service increases based on the above Dispatcher Chart.
ECONOMIC PACKAGE. It is agreed by all parties signatory to this agreement that the total wage package per hour for a Journeyman Plumber shall be as outlined in this Article. Employer agrees that payment is required for all the herein listed items in the amount indicated. There are no items that are to be considered as voluntary in payment. The basic hourly wage rate shall consist of the cash wage, vacation savings, working assessment and tool allowance. On all overtime hours the basic hourly rate shall be paid at the applicable overtime rate of time and one half or double time for employees covered by this Agreement. Vacation savings, working assessment and tool allowance will be subject to taxes. Taxes deducted, then savings and working assessment deducted and paid in the same manner as other fringes. Employer shall be notified in advance of any changes in the economic package. Effective October 1, 2018, the below amounts are to be paid as indicated. Effective October 1, 2018, Vacation Savings will be paid at the rate of $.67 for straight time, $1.01 for time and one-half, and $1.34 for double time. Working assessment will be paid at the rate of $1.00 for straight time, $1.50 for time and one-half, and $2.00 for double time. These items plus the fringe benefits for Insurance, Local Pension, Apprentice Training and Industry Fund total $8.57 per hour for straight time, $9.41 per hour for time and one-half and $10.24 per hour for double time. In addition, $3.91 (eff. 10/1/10) per hour for the National Pension and $.10 per hour for the International Training Fund will be paid separately on forms provided by the National Pension Fund. Xxxxxxx shall be paid $1.00 per hour above Journeyman rate. Superintendent shall be paid $1.25 per hour above Journeyman rate. ECONOMIC PACKAGE. Effective July 8, 2007 a 3% increase contingent on an employee being rated anything but unsatisfactory on their most recent evaluation. Persons without evaluations are deemed satisfactory for purposes of this provision. Retroactivity shall be limited to active employees including those on approved leaves of absence at the time of the signing of the appropriation bill and certain terminated employees (retirees, deceased, laid off, and transferred to other University campuses). Otherwise-terminated employees, including those terminated for cause, would not be eligible. Effective with the first full pay period following January 1, 2008 there will be an increased employer contribution to the Health and Welfare Trust by $1.00 per week per FTE.
