CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE. CNRS will participate in the KM3NeT-PP project though IN2P3, which is responsible for coordinating the national research program in fundamental particle, nuclear and astroparticle physics. It comprises 18 research laboratories working in close collaboration with the French university system. The following IN2P3 laboratories will join the KM3NeT preparatory phase: Centre de Physique des Particules de Marseille (CPPM), the Institut Pluridisciplinaire Xxxxxx Xxxxxx (IPHC) in Strasbourg and the Laboratoire AstroParticule et Cosmologie (APC) in Paris.
