Attendance at Union Meetings. ‌ Employees whose regular shift occurs at official union meeting times, which are scheduled outside the District’s regular student day, will be excused for up to one (1) hour per month to attend such meetings, provided; 1) prior notice (24-hours) has been given to the immediate supervisor, 2) the building is left secured, and 3) the time absent from his/her job is made up on the same day.

Attendance at Union Meetings. In accordance with Florida Statute §447.509, no faculty member shall miss any class or fail to perform any official duty to attend a Union meeting or attend to Union business except as noted in this section.
Attendance at Union Meetings. Section A. The College shall not grant temporary duty assignment for a faculty member to attend Union affiliate meetings or to participate in any Union activities. Neither will the College bear any expense for faculty attendance at such meetings or participation in such activities.

  • Union Meetings The Employer recognizes the Union's interest in keeping its members informed and aware of its activities through regular union meetings. The Employer may approve the use of the agency facilities to hold union meetings. Union meetings, including general and/or committee(s) meetings, held on employer premises will not interfere with the operation of the Employer.

  • ATTENDANCE AT MANDATORY MEETINGS/SCHOOL EVENTS Where an employee is required through clear direction by the board to attend work outside of regular working hours, the provisions of the local collective agreement regarding hours of work and compensation, including any relevant overtime/lieu time provisions, shall apply. Required attendance outside of regular working hours may include, but is not limited to school staff meetings, parent/teacher interviews, curriculum nights, Individual Education Plan and Identification Placement Review Committee meetings, and consultations with board professional staff.

  • Association Meetings A. The Association shall have the right to use school facilities for meetings without cost after the regular students' school day.

  • Board Meetings The Superintendent shall attend, and shall be permitted to attend, all meetings of the Board, both public and closed, with the exception of those closed meetings devoted to the consideration of any action or lack of action on the Superintendent's Contract, or the Superintendent's evaluation, or for purposes of resolving conflicts between individual Board members, or when the Board is acting in its capacity as a tribunal.   • Open Meetings (a) All scheduled meetings of the Employer shall be open meetings, except in those cases where personnel, financial or other matters require that the meeting be considered confidential.

  • Joint Meetings 10.1(a) Should either party desire to discuss with the other any matter affecting generally the relationship of the parties, a meeting of Union and management representatives shall be arranged upon request of either party. Such meeting shall take place at a time mutually convenient to both parties. Any use of Company time for attendance at such meetings shall be arranged in advance by mutual agreement.

  • Labour Management Meetings The committee meeting shall normally be held every second month however, either party may call a meeting of the Joint Labour Management Committee. The meeting shall be held at a time and place fixed by mutual agreement but no later than fourteen (14) calendar days after the initial request, unless mutually agreed.
