Student Day definition

Student Day means the amount of time each day during which students are required to be at school.
Student Day means the portion of the basic teacher day beginning with the time students generally arrive at the school building and ending with the time students generally leave the school building. These student starting and student ending times shall be assigned by the building principal. Instructional Time means the time spent teaching students a school subject or course that requires a certified teacher.
Student Day means each calendar day or part thereof during which a Student attends a CEP School.

Examples of Student Day in a sentence

  • Student Day The period of time from the start of the student instructional time to the end of the student instructional time.

  • Student Day for Special Education Staff: All Special Education Staff will have one (1) additional District Directed day prior to the start of the school year.

  • Initial topics will include: Length of Student Day, Class Size, and Joint Responsibilities for a Safe & Positive School Climate.

  • Leaving at the End of the Student Day Upon completion of all professional responsibilities that require their presence on campus, teachers may leave at the end of the student day.

  • Provided that teachers have all their obligations completed by the end of the day of the last Student Day of the school year, teachers will not be required to report to work on the June Records Day.

  • This leave will not be granted, without the approval 31 of the Superintendent or his/her designee, the first five (5) and last ten (10) work 32 days of the school year, unless being requested for a Learning Improvement Day 33 scheduled before the First Student Day or after the Last Student Day.
