UNION RECOGNITION AND COVERAGE. Section 1.1 Representation/Recognition The District recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining agent for all classified employees of the District except for all secretarial and clerical employees and managerial and supervisory employees in the District.
UNION RECOGNITION AND COVERAGE. SECTION 1. Pursuant to certification by the Department of Labor & Industries in Case No. 0- 1667 and previous negotiations and certifications the Union is hereby recognized as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all classified employees of the Employer, including bus drivers, and excluding District Office Personnel.

Section 2. All work to be performed in the jurisdiction of this union shall be performed by members in good standingof this bargaining unit except for emergencies or other conditions agreed to between the union and the employer. Services provided by the Job Corp or other Federal programs will not reduce the work opportunities of regular employees.
Section 3. It is further agreed that supervisory personnel who engage in the process of written evaluations shall be excluded from this Agreement.

1.02 Included are all full-time and part-time production employees, truck drivers and helpers of the Employer employed at Waipahu, Oahu.
1.03 Excluded are casual employees, office clerical employees, confidential, professional employees, guards and/or watchmen, and supervisors as defined under the Act.
1.04 A casual employee may be hired for the purpose of supplementing the regular work force when additional employees are needed for a period of up to three (3) months. There shall be no more than four (4) casual employees employed at any one time.
