ASSOCIATION/MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES. Local Association/Management Committees (LMC) may be established to attempt to resolve day-to-day problems as the need arises at a time mutually agreed upon. Regional Committees may be established to attempt to resolve problems of significant impact affecting general interest (across county lines) as the need arises at a time and place mutually agreed upon or using electronic means. A Statewide Labor Management Committee meeting will be held at least annually, and management agrees to authorize payment of per diem for five people each calendar year for attendance at such meetings, if needed. The parties agree that Labor Management Committee members are encouraged to carpool, using a state car, if available, for travel to and from Statewide LMC meetings. MFPE will arrange for MFPE participant travel when a state car is not available. MFPE will be responsible for MFPE participant lodging, when attending an LMC meeting.

ASSOCIATION/MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES. 1. In order to encourage a more efficient department, the Mayor or his/her designee, Chief of Police and three (3) Association representatives shall meet at least once every four (4) months. The intent of these meetings shall be to provide continuing dialogue between the employer and employee representatives in order that the aforementioned goal may be realized. Attendance at such meetings by Association representatives shall be without pay.
ASSOCIATION/MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES. Whenever a District wide committee, task force, hot team, and/or any other fact finding or fact gathering group invites participation of bargaining unit members, the Association shall be contacted in advance of the committees formation and shall be allowed a reasonable period of time, not to exceed ten (10) working days, to appoint bargaining unit members of its choosing to the committee. If the Association fails to appoint bargaining unit members of its choosing within a reasonable period of time, not to exceed (10) working days, the District shall be allowed to seek voluntary bargaining unit members of its choosing. Unless otherwise mutually agreed to between the parties, a bargaining unit member shall not serve on more than two (2) committees, task forces, hot teams, etc., at any one time.

Joint Labor Management Committee 21 There shall be a Joint Labor Management Committee that will use the Interest-Based problem-solving process 22 trained by a Montana Board of Personnel agent. If facilitation is needed, then the request will be made to the 23 Montana Board of Personnel Appeals. Recommendations will be made by consensus. If parties are unable to 24 reach consensus, then the issue shall exit the Committee and each party will have the same rights and or 25 obligations related to the issue that each had prior to the issue being submitted to the Committee.
ASSOCIATION/MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES. When the Association establishes Association-Management Committees at any employing unit level in any department where bargaining unit employees are employed, the head of the facility, or of the agency, or his/her designee, shall meet at mutually agreeable times and places upon request by either party and/or at regularly scheduled times for the purpose of discussion on matters of mutual interest, subject to the conditions set forth in this Article. The Director or his/her designee of any agency or department where bargaining unit employees are employed shall, upon request, meet with Association representatives at mutually convenient times and places for the purpose of discussions on matters of mutual interest subject to the conditions set forth in this Article.

  • Association-Management Committee There shall be an Association-Management Committee comprised of two (2) representatives of the parties. The Committee shall meet quarterly, unless otherwise mutually agreed. Agenda items to be discussed shall be exchanged in writing at least five calendar days prior to the meeting. Meetings of this Committee will be to discuss matters of mutual concern, matters relating to nursing, professional practice, scheduling and work load issues. The Committee shall promote and provide for effective and meaningful communication. The parties agree Self Scheduling is appropriate subject matter to discuss in this forum.

  • Union-Management Committee There shall be a union/management committee comprised of four (4) employee representatives appointed by the Union and four (4) employer representatives. The Committee's purpose is to provide and promote effective and meaningful communication of information and ideas and to make joint recommendations on matters of concern. Matters that are properly the subject of an individual grievance will not be discussed at this committee. The Committee will meet quarterly, unless agreed otherwise, at a time and place mutually agreed to provided there is business for their joint consideration. The parties will exchange agenda items at least one (1) week prior to the meeting. The parties further agree the Committee may meet at any time its members mutually agree a meeting should be held. The duties of the Chairperson will be shared by the parties. Copies of the minutes shall be provided to Committee members. The employer agrees to pay for time spent during regular working hours for representatives of the union attending such meetings. The parties may utilize video or teleconferencing services for the purposes of committee members attending committee meetings, where appropriate and available. Neither party can unreasonably deny an initiative to utilize video or teleconferencing services.

  • Joint Union/Management Committee It shall be appropriate for either the Union or the University to request that a Joint Union/Management committee be convened, with Environmental Health and Safety as a participating member, to discuss health and safety concerns and to explore options for addressing those concerns through appropriate training or other approaches.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • UNION MANAGEMENT CONSULTATION COMMITTEE 28.00 The Union and the Employer agree to establish/maintain a Union Management Consultation Committee which shall be comprised of two (2) representatives of the Local Union and two (2) representatives of the Employer.
