ARTICLE N - JOB SHARING. N-1 If the Hospital agrees to a job-sharing arrangement pursuant to Article 20.01 of the Central Agreement, the following conditions shall apply unless otherwise agreed to by the parties:
ARTICLE N - JOB SHARING. If the Health Centre agrees to a Job Sharing arrangement, the following terms and conditions shall apply: Job Sharing requests with regard to full-time positions shall be considered on an individual basis. The Health Centre shall reserve the right to determine the appropriateness of such arrangement after discussion with the Association at the Committee. Total hours worked by the job sharers shall equal one (1) full-time position. The division of these hours over the schedule shall be determined by mutual agreement between the two (2) nurses and the Unit Administrator. The above schedules shall conform with the scheduling provisions of the full-time Collective Agreement. Each job sharer may exchange shifts with her partner, as well as with other nurses as provided by the Collective Agreement. The job sharers involved will have the right to determine which partner works on scheduled paid holidays and job sharers shall only be required to work the number of paid holidays that a full-time nurse would be required to work unless mutually agreed otherwise, Job sharers are not required to cover for their partner during sick leave or vacation unless mutually agreed otherwise. Job sharers are not responsible for arranging coverage for their position during an absence. If one of the job sharers is ill or requires an absent day, she will attempt to contact her partner to cover the shift. If the shift cannot be covered then she will contact the Hospital for a replacement, Where a job sharer is going to be absent, other part- time nurses shall be offered the additional tours. All other provisions covering job sharing are contained the Central Part-time Agreement. Where the job sharing arrangement arises out of the filling of a vacant full-time position, both job sharing positions will be posted and selection will be based on the criteria set out in the Collective Agreement. An incumbent full-time wishing to share her position, may do so without having her half of the position posted. The other half of the job sharing position will be posted and selection will be made on the criteria set out the Collective Agreement. If one of the job sharers leaves the arrangement, her position will be posted. If there is no successful applicant to the position, the shared position must revert to a full-time position, The remaining nurse will have the option of continuing the full-time position or reverting to her former classification. ARTICLE N - JOB SHARING. N-1 Job-Sharing is defined as an arrangement whereby two (2) Nurses share the hours of what would otherwise be one (1) full-time position.
ARTICLE N - JOB SHARING. The Hospital and the Union mutually agree to implement job-sharing. The parties agree to discuss this Letter of Understanding during the next round of Local Issues negotiations and to move the language into the body of the Collective Agreement. Only one (1) full-time position will be job-shared on the following basis:
ARTICLE N - JOB SHARING. The parties mutually agree to implement job sharing. The Employer shall not arbitrarily or unreasonably refuse to implement job sharing. The Parties agree to the following terms and conditions and scheduling for Job Sharing. Each unit is limited to one job share arrangement unless otherwise agreed between the parties. Where the parties have agreed to a job share arrangement a notice will be posted for a two week period to allow any nurse the opportunity to submit a request for a job share position. Following the two week period, should more than one request be received then seniority shall be the deciding factor.

N-1 Recognizing that some employees desire a more flexible working arrangement than is currently provided in the Collective Agreement and pursuant to Article 20.01 of the Central Collective Agreement, the parties agree to the following terms and conditions and scheduling regulations for Job Sharing:

N-1 It is understood and agreed that insofar as any provision of this Article is specifically in conflict with any provisions of Appendix 5 of the Collective Agreement, the provisions of this Article shall prevail. N-2 Only full-time positions shall be considered for job sharing between two nurses.
