TIME POSITIONS. The work week for all full-time staff shall be forty (40) hours per week (Food), and thirty-seven point five (37.5) hours per week (Non-Food) during the peak season. During the peak season, Non-Food staff may be scheduled up to forty (40) hours per week based on business needs. During the off- season, staff (Food and Non-Food) scheduled for thirty-five (35) hours per week or more shall be considered to be full-time. If an employee restricts their availability, they will not be considered to be a full-time employee. It is agreed, subject to seniority requirements of the Collective Agreement, that benefits shall be maintained for full-time staff during the off-season. SIGNED THIS 5th DAY OF November , 1998 . TIME POSITIONS. Section 1. A part time teacher is defined as any properly licensed teacher performing part time duties and excluding long term substitutes.
Section 2. Teachers with no prior full time contract with District 876 must make application for any additional hours as they become available, and will be considered with all other applicants for those hours at a full time position as they become available.
Subd. 1. A teacher with a prior full time contract would be entitled to any additional hours or full time position in the District if they are licensed for them.
Section 3. Fringe benefits are subject to the provisions of Article VIII, Section 8.
Section 4. Part time teachers shall be eligible for paid absences as defined in Article IX on a pro-rated basis as determined by the percentage of their contract.
Section 5. Part time teachers shall be eligible for leaves of absence as defined in Article IX.
Section 6. Part time teachers shall be paid according to the following payment structure.

TIME POSITIONS. Once it is determined by the Committee to reduce a full-time position to a part-time position, the following will take place:
1. The position will first be offered to the incumbent.
2. If the incumbent declines the position, a job description will be posted and qualified applicants will be sought within the system.
3. If, after interviews, no qualified and certified teacher is found to transfer into the position, the position will be posted outside the system.
4. If no certified and qualified applicants can be found outside the system, the position will be filled by the original applicant(s) using the following as criteria: area(s) of certification, major or minor, graduate work completed in the field, teacher evaluations, course/grade level experience, attendance history, and teaching experience outside the Clinton Public School System.
TIME POSITIONS. No full-time position (37.5 hours) within the bargaining unit shall be assigned to one or more part-time because of attrition or layoff. To ensure that employees are not being by-passed when applying for positions at either Manor or Lanark Lodge, the Employer shall provide a letter to both Local and Local listing: all employees presently on lay off at both Homes; names of all applicants; I applicant; updated seniority list from both Homes.

Section 4. Part-time teachers shall advance one step on the salary schedule after working 1472 hours of service in the School District. Individual contracts will be modified to reflect qualified lane changes two times each year. Requests for modification of contracts shall be submitted in writing to the superintendent no later than September 20 effective for the full contract year and February 1 effective for the second half of the contract year.

The Parties acknowledge that: Effective upon ratification of this renewal Collective Agreement, the thresholds outlined for part- time and full-time employees in Article 3.01 shall be amended so that part-time employees will now be entitled to work for more than thirteen and one-third (13-1/3) hours and less than thirty-two (32) hours per week, and full-time employees shall be entitled to work an average of thirty-two (32) hours or more per week as a result of their status; and
