Scholarly Sharing. On an ad hoc basis, Authorized Users may transmit to a third party in hard copy or electronically, minimal, insubstantial amounts of the Licensed Materials for personal use or scholarly, educational, or scientific research or professional use in the nature of collaboration, comment, or the scholarly exchange of ideas but in no case for resale or commercial purposes or in a manner that would substitute for direct access to the Licensed Materials via services offered by Licensor.

Text and Data Mining. Authorized Users may use the Materials to perform and engage in text and/or data mining activities for academic research, scholarship, and other educational purposes and may utilize and share the results of text and/or data mining in their scholarly work and make the results available for use by others, so long as the purpose is not to create a product for use by third parties that would substitute for the Materials. Suweco will, upon receipt of written request, cooperate with NTK and Authorized Users as reasonably necessary in making the Materials available in a manner and form most useful to the Authorized User. Suweco shall provide to NTK, upon request, copies of the Materials for text and data mining purposes without any extra fees. Interlibrary Loan. Using electronic, paper, or intermediated means, NTK and the Participating Institutions at their discretion may fulfill occasional requests from other institutions, a practice commonly called Interlibrary Loan (”ILL”). Suweco agrees that the electronic form of the Materials may be used as a source for the ILL whereby articles and/or chapters can be printed and these print copies can be delivered via postal mail, fax, or fax-based service to fulfil ILL requests from an academic, research or other non-commercial library. Requests received from for-profit companies may not be honored. ILL through secure electronic transmission, as demonstrated by the ARIEL, is permitted. Files transmitted in this manner must carry copyright notices and comply with copyright laws of Czech Republic. Bibliographic Citations. NTK, the Participating Institutions and Authorized Users may use, with appropriate credit, figures, tables, and brief excerpts from the Materials in the Authorized User’s own scientific, scholarly, and educational works.
