Adult employees. The prior application of any Notional Agreement Preserving State Awards, specifically the ‘Hairdressers’ Industry Award – State 2003 [AN140140 – Qld] and the ‘Beauty Therapy Industry Award – State 2003 [AN140026 – Qld]; Preserved State Agreement; Federal Award or pre‐reform Certified Agreement shall have no further effect. Under the operation of this Agreement, there shall be no further entitlement arising from any industrial instrument which operated prior to the commencement of this Collective Agreement and to which the parties were, or may have been, required to observe.

Adult employees. Level 1 Level 1 shall be utilised for employees with less than 6 months relevant experience at Da Angelo Ristorante. Employees shall be automatically progressed to Level 2 after completing 494 hours experience with Da Angelo Ristorante. The employer has the discretion to progress an employee to Level 2 prior to the completion of 494 hours experience. Adult employees. The minimum rates of wages payable to adult employees shall be the addition of the Base Rate, Supplementary and Excess Payments for the respective periods as follows: Classification Agreement Rate Per Week $ Base Grade - Components: Base Rate 288.40 Supplementary Payment 200.20 "Excess" Payment 49.70 The rates of pay in this Agreement are intended to include the arbitrated wage adjustment payable under the 1 September 2005 Declaration of General Ruling and earlier Safety Net Adjustments and arbitrated wage adjustments. [Disputed cases are to be referred to the Vice President.] This arbitrated wage adjustment may be offset against any equivalent amount in rates of pay received by employees whose wages and conditions of employment are regulated by this Agreement which are above the wage rates prescribed in the Agreement. Such payments include wages payable pursuant to certified agreements, currently operating enterprise flexibility agreements, Queensland workplace agreements, Agreement amendments to give effect to enterprise agreements and overagreement arrangements. Absorption which is contrary to the terms of an agreement is not required. Increases made under previous State Wage Cases or under the current Statement of Principles, excepting those resulting from enterprise agreements, are not to be used to offset arbitrated wage adjustments.
