Ground Transportation definition

Ground Transportation. Taxicabs are an acceptable mode of local urban transportation (e.g. trips to the airport); however, consideration should be given to alternative services such as buses, tubes or local airport shuttles. Car rental: Car rental must be booked via the J&J approved travel agent. Cost must be paid directly by J&J travel agent. Car rental will only be permitted when other suitable means of transportation are not available.
Ground Transportation shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Article 8 hereof.
Ground Transportation means the actual documented amount spent by Settlement Class Members for ground transportation to and from an airport in Cleveland, Canton, or nearby areas to be transported to Canton, up to a maximum of $100 per person. Compensable ground transportation shall include rental car expenses, taxis and ride share (e.g., Uber, Lyft), shuttle buses and vans, and private car services.

More Definitions of Ground Transportation

Ground Transportation means non-aviation activities that relate to travelling to and from the airport.
Ground Transportation means the cost of taxi, rideshare, shuttle, or public transportation between the traveler’s home or office, airport, and the event destination, as necessary.
Ground Transportation. A ground transportation allowance of four dollars ($4.00) per day will be applicable in accordance with Article Ground Transportation Allowances for each day of the assignment. Ground Transportation. Reasonable expenses for non-commuting ground transportation (taxi, bus, or train) incurred while traveling on Athenex business are reimbursed based on actual cost to Consultant. Consultant should rent an automobile only when other transportation is not feasible or when automobile rental is less expensive than other modes of transportation. When a Consultant’s own automobile is used for business travel, reimbursement will be computed using Athenex’s current business mileage reimbursement rate (currently $0.575 per mile) for actual business miles driven. No reimbursement will be made for the repairs or other costs associated with the vehicle such as fines, court costs or towing charges.

Rental Car: Compact or sub-compact cars are authorized for individuals or groups of two, intermediate cars are authorized for three or more. Larger or specialized vehicles such as vans or mini-buses must be approved in advance by Company Representative. Rental cars must be refueled before returning or an explanation must be attached to the invoice. Personal Automobile: Reimbursed at the rate of 30 cents a mile unless otherwise provided for in the Agreement. Tolls and Parking fees are reimbursable.
