Xxxx Leave Reimbursement. (1) Employees shall have the option of converting 50% of their accumulated unused sick leave for the fiscal year to pay. In calculating the number of hours that could be converted to pay, all computations shall be rounded to the nearest whole hour and the fiscal year will beconsidered to start and end with the first pay period commencing in July of each year.

Xxxx Leave Reimbursement. Xxxx leave reimbursement is payable upon voluntary retirement of a Capac employee. Voluntary retirement is defined as having ten (10) years of employment with the district. Those individual’s meeting this criteria shall receive reimbursement for each eight hours accumulates sick leave. Reimbursement shall be at the rate of 2.25 hours of current pay for each earned sick day. Individuals with $1,500.00 or more in accumulated unused sick leave pay shall have benefit deposited as a lump sum distribution to an approved Special Pay Plan as defined by IRS rules and regulations. The Capac District plans are managed by MidAmerica, Administrative and Retirement Solutions’, Inc. Plan detail is available at Central Office. Accumulated unused sick time of less than $1,500.00 will receive benefit through the district’s payroll.

The employee shall provide notification of retirement by November 1 of the school year in which he is retiring. Payment shall be made to the employee by July 15. Ten month employees who are employed by the Lodi School District for a period of less than 100 months, and twelve month employees who are employed by the Lodi School District for a period of less than 120 months, shall not be entitled to the above retirement, termination or death benefit.
