The highest percentage of feedback centered around the use of evidence- based interventions, after-school and summer programs, addressing student social-emotional and mental health needs, curriculum enhancements, supporting at-risk students, and maintaining healthy facilities. We believe that our current plan for the use of ARP XXXXX funds relates to each one of these areas.

The committee will meet periodically to review the plan, progress on the plan, outcomes, and recommend changes to the plan based upon the results of programs implemented. Additionally, the discussions of the committee will be brought back to the school board for review and approval at public meetings. All public meetings are open to the public and also viewable remotely live and after the meeting. During the Public Comment section of the fall 2021 meeting, stakeholders will have the ability to provide input into the plan for using XXXXX funds.

(3,000 characters xxx) Due to the increased utilization of technology in the classroom, input included the expansion of technology coaching, and two (2) technology integration coaches are being hired. Due to the impact of COVID on the social-emotional well-being of students, suggestions were made to provide supports in the area of social-emotional learning and resources are being added. Due to the impact of COVID on academic performance, suggestions were made to implement a math intervention program at K-8, and additional staff are being hired to provide these supports. It was noted that additional academic supports are needed for all students, so after-school tutoring is being expanded to all grade levels and for all students.

(3,000 characters xxx) The Mifflin County School District Local Advisory Committee meets quarterly to actively engage all stakeholders in the planning, development, implementation and assessment of all federal program activities. The quarterly meetings provide the LEA and opportunity to continue consultation with stakeholders to improve grant activities and align them with related activities conducted in the community. Ongoing quarterly LEA Local Advisory Committee meeting agendas and meeting minutes are used by the LEA as a current and relevant needs assessment to help guide the development of the LEA Plan for the Use of ARP XXXXX funds. Agency, community, parental and board representation all provide valuable feedback that help the district align federal funding with the most important educational needs as a result of COVID-19. The MCSD central administration team meets weekly and K-12 principal team monthly to review stakeholder feedback and strategically plan out the development of the LEA Plan for the Use of ARP XXXXX funds. The district's federal program coordinator reviews quarterly LAC meeting feedback at these administrative meetings. The Superintendent, Chief of Academics, Chief of Operations and Director of Student Services are all active participants of the LAC committee meetings and have all reflected upon and analyzed stakeholder and public input to develop a list of non-negotiables to drive the development of the LEA Plan for the Use of ARP XXXXX Funds and align these priorities with our Future Ready Comprehensive Plan.

(3,000 characters xxx) All feedback from stakeholders (timeline shared in previous question) was coded for themes and incorporated into our XXXXX III/ARP Planning process. The themes that emerged from our stakeholders included: addressing learning loss as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, expanded counseling and social-emotional supports, college and career preparations and student supports, and expanded summary programming and extended day tutoring opportunities for students. All of these themes are reflected in the funding decisions and allocations within the grant application.
