Educational Needs. With ongoing cultural increase in IT based activity, including on line application to public sector agencies, it is important that any literacy, Numeracy or IT needs are identified at an early stage in the process. In Dundee, ‘Discover Learning’ delivered by Dundee City Council has been effective in providing a base for people to take forward any issues to relevant agencies for support. Additionally, each College will put support systems in place as necessary Skills Development Scotland is involved at the outset of each cohort, through delivery of the careers essentials course which is regarded by all partners as crucial. The course is designed to introduce and address issues relating to employability, team and confidence building and self reflection. All components are further developed when College takes over delivery. A key element of the relationship with Skills Development Scotland concerns the after care service which provides support for students on completion of the courses. Representatives from the Healthcare and Health and Social Care Academies may also attend these sessions.
Educational Needs. I agree that the School District reserves the right to: a. make educational decisions, including placement and program decisions, in the best interests of the Student and within available resources. b. remove the Student from the program if the Student’s educational needs are greater than disclosed on the application or there are other material misrepresentations or non-disclosures; c. remove the Student from the program if the Student develops health concerns, including mental health concerns. While the School District takes into consideration requests for placement at a particular school, the final decision on any placement is determined solely by the School District considering space availability. I understand that the School District cannot guarantee the attainment of a BC High School Graduation Diploma.

DSST PUBLIC SCHOOLS shall implement and maintain the following characteristics of its educational program in addition to those identified in the Network Contract at DSST XXXX MIDDLE SCHOOL (“the School” within Exhibit A-3).   • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. The Board shall provide financial reimbursement for college and technical school credits taken by teaching personnel who hold a permanent certificate or above and for all other employees, subject to the following regulations and provisions: 1. A teacher must be fully certified. Secretaries and custodians must have completed three (3) years in the District at the time the course(s) commenced. 2. Employees who work less than full-time shall be eligible for pro-rated reimbursement under 4. and 5. above if they qualify under A., A. I., A.2., A.3., A.7. and A.8. 6. Reimbursement will not be made until after successful completion of the course and after an official transcript has been received by the Superintendent of Schools. Reimbursement shall be made pursuant to the following schedule: For a grade of A or B 100% reimbursement For a grade of C 60% reimbursement 7. No reimbursement will be made for credits for which a grant or other payment covering such costs is received by the employee. 8.
