Skilled Trades Committee. The parties agree to form a Committee made up of two (2) representatives from Management responsible for Skilled Trades, and two (2) Skilled Trades members appointed or elected by the Union, and one of which will be the Skilled Trades Representative. A regular quarterly meeting will be held on the first Thursday of each quarter on company paid time. Agreed upon minutes will be taken and made available to the committee members. Either party can submit items to the agenda, to be discussed at the meeting, at least one week in advance of the meeting.

When a vacancy for a combined trades job is posted in the plant, the Company will select the senior applicant subject to subsection 8.03-8.07 of Article VIII - Seniority, provided that the most senior applicant has previously worked in the trades group and has been fully qualified in one of the Trades combined into the posted job. If the Company is unable to fill the vacancy by following this procedure, the vacancy will be filled in accordance with the provisions of Article VIII - Seniority.

  • SKILLED TRADES The provisions of the General Agreement shall apply to employees in the Skilled Trades classifications except as altered by the provisions of this Article.

  • JOINT LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE In order to encourage open communication, promote harmonious labor relations, and resolve matters of mutual concern, the parties agree to create a joint labor- management committee. The committee will be governed by the following principles:

Labor/Management Committees The parties recognize that the holding of periodic meetings for the exchange of views and information contributes to the effectiveness of the labor/management relationship. Therefore, the parties shall establish Labor/Management Committees (LMC), in accordance with the provisions in this Article, for the purpose of addressing matters of concern in the areas of personnel policies, practices, conditions of employment, and other matters affecting employees. Each LMC will be co-chaired by one member from labor and one member from management.

  • LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 1. A Statewide Labor Management Committee consisting of not more than five (5) members selected by the VSEA from among bargaining units represented by VSEA and not more than five (5) members selected by the State shall meet periodically to discuss a mutually agreed agenda which may include methods of improving labor relations, productivity, safety, and health problems of a continuing nature, or other problems which have an impact on conditions of employment; provided, however, these sessions are not for the purpose of discussing pending grievances or for collective bargaining on any subject.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • Joint Consultative Committee 45.1 The parties recognise the need for effective communication to improve the business/operational performance and working environment in agencies.

  • Consultative Committee 26.1 The parties agree to establish a consultative committee to assist the parties improve productivity, efficiency and to provide for the effective involvement of employees in decision making processes. The committee will consist of an equal number of company and elected employee representatives.

  • Board Committees The Director hereby agrees to sit in the relevant committees of the Board and to perform all of the duties, services and responsibilities necessary thereunder.

  • LIAISON COMMITTEE 8.01 A Liaison Committee shall be established which shall meet on an informal basis at the call of any of the parties signatory hereto, to discuss matters of mutual interest pertaining to the Project and/or this Agreement, with the objective of promoting and maintaining beneficial relations and cooperation between the parties, and of ensuring the achievement of the purposes of this Agreement. The Liaison will meet at least twice per year.
