SICK LEAVE TRANSITION Clause Samples

The Sick Leave Transition clause outlines how an employee's sick leave entitlements are managed when there is a change in employment terms, such as moving from one contract or employer to another within the same organization. Typically, this clause specifies whether accrued sick leave balances are carried over, reset, or paid out, and may detail any conditions or limitations on the transfer of these benefits. Its core function is to ensure clarity and fairness in the treatment of sick leave during employment transitions, preventing disputes and misunderstandings about employee entitlements.
