Seniorit y Lists. Two (2) seniority lists showing the names and seniority status of a l l permanent and proba- tionary contract teachers, employed by the Board at each Centre respectively, shall be prepared and approved by the Board and the respective co- ordinators. A copy of the seniority as finally approved shall be initialed by the respective co- ordinators and the Superintendent of the Board and such lists shall be conclusive evidence of the seniority of permanent and probationary contract teachers employed by the Board. The said lists shall be revised on or about October of each year. Teachers shall be placed on the respective seniority Lists in accordance with the provisions of Seniority for part- time teachers shall be pro- rated except for those teachers forced to take a part- time position or be laid off in which case they w i l l receive seniority on a full - time basis, Seniority shall denote the last consecutive I! period during which a teacher has in fact been employed by the Board. Any change in legal structures of a school board shall have no effect on the seniority of a teacher who was in the employ of a school board a t the time of such change. The senior- i t y of any teacher so affected shall be the same as it would have been had such modifi- cation not taken place. Seniority shall continue to accumulate:
Seniorit y Lists. By October 1st of each calendar year, the City shall establish a seniority list for each classification which includes the following information: • the employee's name; • the date of last promotion to the present classification; • the service date; • hire date; and Page 000 XXXXX & City of Las Vegas July 01, 2020 to June 30 2021 • Human Resources date/time stamp. All seniority lists shall be available for inspection in Human Resources and shall also be provided to the Association. Department and division offices shall have current seniority lists available for any classification within that department or division for review by employees. Protests regarding the accuracy of a given seniority list must be filed in writing with Human Resources no later than November 15th of the current calendar year. If no protest is filed by Nov 15th then the seniority list for that classification shall stand as conclusive evidence of each person's seniority until the posting of the next annual seniority lists. A protest of a given seniority list shall be resolved through discussions between Human Resources and the employee and the Association, after giving the employee an opportunity to submit a written seniority protest form. If there is still a dispute following discussion of the protest, the Association may file a grievance.

  • Seniority Lists A copy of the seniority list will be posted by January 31st and July 31st of each calendar year on designated bulletin boards with a copy forwarded to the bargaining unit president.
