Return to Employment from Unpaid Leave. Upon completion of leave, the employee may be guaranteed to return to the same position or to another position for which he/she is qualified. Non- acceptance of such a position shall terminate the Board’s obligation to rehire. Furthermore, it is the employee’s responsibility to notify the Human Resources Office in writing of the employee’s intentions for the upcoming school year no later than May 30 of each year. Non-submission of a letter of the employee’s intentions will be an admission of his/her resignation from the District.

Written notification must be submitted no later than April 15 of each school year verifying the employee’s intentions for the upcoming school year. Non-submission of a written letter to the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources by April 15 of each year, verifying the employee’s intentions for the upcoming school year, will be deemed as admission of his/her resignation from the district.

  • Return to Employment An employee resuming employment after a maternity, adoption or parental leave of absence shall be reinstated in all respects to her previous position or to a comparable position, with all increments to wages and benefits to which she would have been entitled during the period of her absence.

  • Unpaid Leave of Absence If an employee is on an unpaid leave of absence, then vacation leave, compensatory time, or sick leave cannot be used for the purpose of maintaining eligibility for an Employer Contribution by keeping the employee on a State payroll for one (1) working day per pay period.

  • ’ Compensation Leave If such determination cannot readily be made and all healthcare leave or annual leave subject to 100% payoff has been applied to the absence, the employee shall be placed on Official Leave until a final determination is made.
