Return from Leave of Absence. (a) Before a Nurse may return to work from a leave granted under Article 9.00, she or he must provide a minimum of four (4) weeks written notice of the specific date of his or her return to work, or such shorter time as mutually agreed.
Return from Leave of Absence. The employee returning from an authorized leave of absence is entitled to return to his/her same position. The Employer will make a good faith effort to reinstate employees returning from an authorized leave of absence to their previous or similar assignment and schedule. An employee who fails to return to work within five (5) calendar days of the expiration of a leave, and/or has not obtained an extension of the leave prior to its expiration will be considered to have voluntarily terminated employment.
Return from Leave of Absence. Any employee who fails to return to work as scheduled from a leave of absence, and who is not excused by the Superintendent shall be considered to have resigned from his/her employment. All employees shall be given written notice of this provision (effectuated via this CBA) prior to the commencement of any leave of absence.
Return from Leave of Absence. Any employee returning from an authorized leave as stated in this Agreement shall return to his/her previously held job classification and schedule (hours, days and room) provided that neither has been abolished and the employee is qualified. In the event the schedule has been abolished and cannot be reestablished, the employee may bump into any schedule commensurate with his/her accrued seniority. Return to previous schedule will only be guaranteed if the leave is less than ninety-one (91) days.
Return from Leave of Absence. When an employee returns to work following a leave of absence due to the health of the employee, the Administration may require such employee to submit doctor's verification of ability to return to work at the Employer's expense. An employee shall be entitled to retain such rights as he/she may have had prior to the employee's leave of absence. Employees will return on the same step on the salary schedule in the same classification. Upon return from leave, the employee shall be returned to the position held immediately before the leave began. If the position no longer exists, the employee shall be returned to a position equivalent in pay, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
Return from Leave of Absence. 2 1. An employee returning from an approved leave of absence of six (6) months or less 3 (other than waived rights) will be restored to a position in the employee's same 4 classification and previous work location in the Labor and Trades Bargaining Unit or 5 work site in the Safety and Regulatory Bargaining Unit.
Return from Leave of Absence. 1. A teacher wishing to return to the District after an extended leave of absence scheduled to end at the end of the school year, must request in writing to the Superintendent or designee, such re-employment not later than March 20th prior to the termination of his/her leave. Failure to comply with the provision shall be considered as a resignation. The Superintendent or designee will attempt to contact all teachers on such leaves of absence, by certified mail, on or before March 1st and inform them of the above requirements.
Return from Leave of Absence. Any employee who is returning from an extended leave of absence (3 months or more) must notify the Employer in writing of his intention to return thirty (30) days prior to such return. Failure to comply with this section may be considered as a resignation and a forfeiture of seniority rights.
