VACATION (NON-52 WEEK EMPLOYEES) – HIRED BEFORE JULY 1, 2013. Employees who work less than 52 weeks shall be entitled to the following vacation schedule based on actual hours worked per week unless the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources makes a written exception. Non-52 Week Employees Length of Paid VacationCompletion of three (3) or more Five (5) paid days to be used on years of service any non-scheduled work day during your calendar year Non-52 Week Employees Length of Paid Vacation  Completion of seven (7) or more Eight (8) additional paid days to be Used on any non-scheduled work day during your calendar year Non-52 week employees may choose on which non-paid days during the school year to use their vacation days. To choose the dates, the employee must submit in writing to the head secretary, the exact dates they would like their pay attached to. This must be done no later than the first Friday in October. Employees will automatically receive their pay, (5 days at Holiday Break and 5 days at Spring Break for eligible employees) unless a change is requested.   • Sick Leave Days Payable at 100% Wages Permanent Employees Subject to paragraphs d), e) and f) below, Employees will be allocated eleven (11) sick days payable at one hundred percent (100%) of wages on the first day of each fiscal year, or the first day of employment.

  • Special Parental Allowance for Totally Disabled Employees (a) An employee who:

  • Vacation Leave on Retirement ‌ An employee scheduled to retire and to receive pension benefits under the Public Service Pension Plan Rules or who has reached the mandatory retiring age, shall be granted full vacation entitlement for the final calendar year of service.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2

  • Special Maternity Allowance for Totally Disabled Employees (a) An employee who:

  • Overtime-Eligible Employees Employees who are covered by the overtime provisions of state and federal law.

  • Overtime-Eligible Employees Unpaid Meal Periods The Employer and the Union agree to unpaid meal periods that vary from and supersede the unpaid meal period requirements required by WAC 000-000-000. Unpaid meal periods for employees working more than five (5) consecutive hours, if entitled, will be a minimum of thirty (30) minutes and will be scheduled as close to the middle of the work shift as possible, taking into account the Employer’s work requirements and the employee’s wishes. Employees working three (3) or more hours longer than a normal workday will be allowed an additional thirty (30) minute unpaid meal period. When an employee’s unpaid meal period is interrupted by work duties, the employee will be allowed to resume their unpaid meal period following the interruption, if possible, to complete the unpaid meal period. In the event an employee is unable to complete the unpaid meal period due to operational necessity, the employee will be entitled to compensation, which will be computed based on the actual number of minutes worked within the unpaid meal period. Meal periods may not be used for late arrival or early departure from work and meal and rest periods will not be combined.

  • SALARY DETERMINATION FOR EMPLOYEES IN ADULT EDUCATION PCA Article B.3 does not apply in School District No. 34 (Abbotsford).

  • VESTED RETIREMENT GRATUITY VOLUNTARY EARLY PAYOUT a) An Employee eligible for a Sick Leave Credit retirement gratuity as per Appendix A shall have the option of receiving a payout of his/her gratuity on August 31, 2016, or on the employee’s normal retirement date.

  • Non-Vested Retirement Gratuity for Teachers 1. The minimum years of service for retirement gratuity shall be defined as the lesser of the contractual minimal service requirement in the 2008-2012 collective agreement, or ten (10) years.
