Requesting Vacation Time. ‌ Bargaining unit employees shall request vacation at times convenient to the bargaining unit employee and consistent with the needs of the district.
Requesting Vacation Time. All vacation requests received will be considered on a first come, first accommodated basis.
Requesting Vacation Time. The Company has the right to restrict the number of employees who may take their vacation at any one time on a department basis. The Company will endeavour to allow a minimum of fifteen percent (15%) of the employees in a department to be absent for vacation purposes at any one time.
Requesting Vacation Time. Employees shall be permitted to request vacation on either a split or an entire basis. Vacation times shall be scheduled by operation, the availability of vacation relief, and the City’s right to so arrange scheduling that each employee has an opportunity, if he chooses, to use at some time during the next year, the full amount of vacation credit which he could accumulate in 12 months of continuous service. Subject to the foregoing, the employee shall have the right to determine vacation times. An employee must make a written request for vacation 14 days in advance. Vacation times shall be selected on the basis of seniority, defined as the employee’s length of continuous service within the bargaining unit. Conflicting requests for the same vacation time shall be resolved on the basis of such seniority, but an employee shall be permitted to exercise his right of seniority only once annually. Only one Airport employee in a given classification may be on vacation or on compensation time leave at any given time.

  • Vacation Time After the Trial Period is complete, the Employee is entitled to days off per year of which is required to be mutually benefiting of the Employer and the Employee. It is required for the Employee to give notice before scheduling their vacation in accordance with Company policy.

  • Call Back From Vacation (a) Employees who have commenced their annual vacation shall not be called back to work, except in cases of extreme emergency. (b) When, during any vacation period, an employee is recalled to duty, he/she shall be reimbursed for all expenses incurred thereby by himself/herself, in proceeding to his/her place of duty and in returning to the place from which he/she was recalled upon resumption of vacation, upon submission of receipts (except for meals) to the Employer. (c) Time necessary for travel in returning to his/her place of duty and returning again to the place from which he/she was recalled shall not be counted against his/her remaining vacation entitlement.

  • Vacation and Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to vacation and paid time off in accordance with the standard policies of the Company for executives as in effect from time to time.

  • Vacation; Paid Time Off During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to fifteen (15) paid vacation days per calendar year (prorated for partial years) in accordance with the Company’s vacation policies, as in effect from time to time that is at least as favorable as that provided to other similarly situated executives of the Company. The Executive shall receive other paid time-off in accordance with the Company’s policies for executive officers as such policies may exist from time to time.

  • Prime Time Vacation Period Subject to the provisions of this article, it is the intent of the parties that no employee will be restricted in the time of year they choose to take their vacation. The Employer will make every effort to allow employees to take their vacation during the period of April 15th to October 15th inclusive, which will be defined as the prime time vacation period.
