Recall from Vacation. The Employer will make every reasonable effort not to recall an employee to duty after she has proceeded on vacation leave or to cancel vacation once it has been approved.
Recall from Vacation. The Deputy Head will make every reasonable effort not to recall an employee to duty after he/she has proceeded on vacation leave.
Recall from Vacation. The Employer will make every reasonable effort not to recall an employee to duty while on vacation leave or to cancel vacation once it has been approved. An employee who has incurred expenses related to his/her vacation and, subsequent to their vacation approval, has their vacation cancelled or is recalled to work shall have such expenses reimbursed by the Employer. It is the responsibility of the employee to advise the Employer at the time of recall that they will be submitting a claim for vacation expenses incurred or that potential for such a claim exists. The employee shall be required to submit proof of expenses when making a claim for reimbursement.
Recall from Vacation. The Employer will make every reasonable effort not to recall a Nurse to duty after the Nurse has commenced vacation leave or to cancel vacation once it has been approved.
Recall from Vacation. 1. An Employee may be recalled to duty before the expiration of any granted vacation when, in the opinion of the department head, the Employee's services are required. In such event the Employee shall be paid for all work performed at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the Employee's regular rate of pay during such period the Employee is recalled from the Employee's vacation and shall be granted the Employee's unused vacation days at a time mutually agreed upon.
2. An Employee who is summoned during the Employee's vacation to serve as a witness in any judicial proceeding in connection with the duties and responsibilities of the Employee's position on work related matters shall be compensated at one and one-half (1 1/2) times the Employee's regular rate of pay during the scheduled vacation period the Employee is required to serve and the Employee's unused vacation leave shall be rescheduled at a time mutually agreed upon.
3. An Employee who is summoned during the Employee's vacation to serve as a witness or juror in any judicial proceedings, except those which may involve or arise out of the Employee's outside employment or the Employee's personal business or private affairs shall, if the Employee serves, be permitted to reschedule the Employee's vacation for another mutually agreed upon time.

(b) Where, during any period of approved vacation, an employee is recalled to duty, she shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, subject to the provisions of Article 23.03 (f) and transportation expense in accordance with Article 28, that she incurs:
(i) in proceeding to her place of duty; and
(ii) in returning to the place from which she was recalled if she immediately resumes vacation leave upon completing the assignment for which she was recalled. In addition to the above, an employee shall be compensated at one and one half (1.5) times her regular rate of pay for time worked during the period of recall from vacation.
(c) The period of vacation leave so displaced resulting from recall and transportation time shall either be added to the vacation period, if requested by the employee and approved by the Employer, or reinstated for use at a later date.
Recall from Vacation. (a) The Employer will make every reasonable effort not to recall an employee to duty after she has proceeded on vacation leave or to cancel vacation once it has been approved.
(b) When the Employer cancels a period of vacation, which it has previously approved in writing, or recalls an employee from vacation, the Employer shall reimburse the employee for the non-returnable portion of vacation contracts and reservations made by the employee in respect of the period subject to the presentation of such documentation as the Employer may require. The employee must make every reasonable attempt to mitigate any losses incurred and will provide proof of such action to the Employer. At the time the change is proposed by the Employer the employee shall advise the Employer of the maximum liability that will be involved.
(c) Where, during any period of approved vacation, an employee is recalled to duty, she shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, subject to the provisions of Article 29, that she incurs:
(i) in proceeding to her place of duty; and
(ii) in returning to the place from which she was recalled if she immediately resumes vacation leave upon completing the assignment for which she was recalled. In addition to the above, an employee shall be compensated at two (2) times her regular rate of pay for time worked during the period of recall from vacation.
(d) The period of vacation leave so displaced resulting from recall and transportation time shall either be added to the vacation period, if requested by the employee and approved by the Employer, or reinstated for use at a later date.
