Recognition of Bargaining Agent. 3.1 NVIT recognizes the Union as a trade union pursuant to the Labour Code of British Columbia with all rights and responsibilities attendant upon such status. More particularly, NVIT recognizes the Union as the exclusive Bargaining Agent for all members of the bargaining unit.
Recognition of Bargaining Agent. 3.1 The University, in accordance with Manitoba Labour Board Certificate No. MLB-5259 dated June 28, 1996, recognizes the Union as the exclusive bargaining agent for all persons holding sessional appointments or employed part-time by the University of Manitoba in the Province of Manitoba performing the work of Instructor I, Instructor II, Senior Instructor, Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Librarian and Counsellor, excluding professional employees who practice a profession outside the University and teach only part-time, within their profession, and excluding employees in Non-Degree Credit Programs, and excluding employees covered by other Certificates, those covered by the Collective Agreement between the University of Manitoba Faculty Association and the University of Manitoba, and those excluded by The Labour Relations Act of Manitoba.
Recognition of Bargaining Agent. Pursuant to the November 3, 1976, certification of the Illinois Office of Collective Bargaining and the April 3, 1985, certification of the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board, and the November 12, 2001 certification of the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board, the Board recognizes the Union as the exclusive bargaining agent for academic Employees and academic support Employees and Charter School faculty (if the GSU Charter School resumes operation) in the bargaining units described in the attached certifications. See Appendices A and B, and Article 10.
Recognition of Bargaining Agent. A) The Waterloo Catholic District School Board, hereinafter called the Board, shall recognize the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association, hereinafter called the Secondary Teachers and/or the Unit, as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for the teachers employed according to the current Ontario Labour Relations Act which specifically prohibits negotiation by an individual or group of individuals with the Board except as specified by the Act.

The Board recognizes the Canadian Union of Public Employees and its Local 439 as the exclusive bargaining agent for those employees for whom the Union has been certified. Should there be a dispute as to who is considered an employee for purposes of this Collective Agreement, either party may seek a decision from the Labour Relations Board.
Recognition of Bargaining Agent. Pursuant to an election and certification by the Illinois Labor Relations Board under Case No. S-RC-01-007 dated December 12, 2000, and the certification issued thereon to the Chapter by the State of Illinois Labor Relations Board, the Employer recognizes the Chapter as the exclusive bargaining agent for the purpose of establishing wages, hours and other conditions of employment for all sworn full-time and probationary officers within the Police Department of the Village of Xxxxxxx, below the rank of sergeant, as certified, as described hereinabove. None of the provisions of this Agreement shall be construed to require either the Employer or the Chapter to violate any Federal or State laws.

The Village agrees during the tenn of this Agreement to recognize the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent with respect to wages, hours and conditions of employment for employees in the following unit: All.full-time sworn patrol officers employed by the Village of Win.field below the rank of sergeant, but exclung the Police Chiefthe lieutenant and sergeants (excluded as supervisory personnel), records clerk and confidential and managerial employees as defined by the Act, and all other employees ofthe Villa e of Winfield. When the term "police officer" or ''patrol officer'' or "employee" is used in this Agreement, it shall refer to the members of the bargaining unit described above, and to no other person(s).
Recognition of Bargaining Agent. The Company recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining agent for all bargaining unit employees, as described in Paragraph 1.2 below, at its St. Xxxx Mill, located at 0000 Xxx Xxxx Xxxx, Xx. Xxxx, Minnesota 55119, including any bargaining unit employees/jobs relocated to any facility at, or contiguous to, the present St. Xxxx Mill site. Nothing contained herein would cause this recognition clause to apply to an acquired Company or new operation.

The Employer recognizes the Nova Scotia Nurses' Union as the bargaining agent for all Registered Full-Time and regular Part-Time and Temporary Registered Nurses employed in the Bargaining Unit, except for the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing and all other classifications and other persons excluded by virtue of Section 2 (2) (a) and (b) of the Trade Union Act.
