PLUS RATES. In cases where an employee is required to temporarily perform duties and responsibilities of a higher classification, the employee may be paid at a rate within the salary range of the higher classification which provides an increase of at least five (5) percent above the employee's regular base rate of pay. In order to be considered for plus rate payment, the assignment must be in excess of ten (10) consecutive work days. Plus rates will be effective at the start of additional responsibilities. The recommendation to implement plus rate payment shall be made in writing by the Department Head or employee and must be reviewed and approved by the Town Manager.

PLUS RATES. 4.13.1 Employees assigned to work in a higher-level classification will receive a 5% increase for four (4) or more consecutive hours worked in the higher classification.
PLUS RATES. 9.1 Effective on the date of ratification of this Agreement, members of the bargaining unit who are assigned to perform the work of a bargaining unit position which is assigned to a higher pay grade level as a replacement of a member who is absent shall receive either a one rate step increase in pay or the minimum step for the higher pay grade level, whichever is the greater amount.
PLUS RATES. An employee may be temporarily assigned to the work of any position of the same or lower rate of pay without change in compensation. Upon cessation of such temporary assignment, said employee shall be restored to his/her original position. When an employee works on a temporary assignment in a higher paid position, he/she will receive either a 7.5% increase in compensation or die minimum rate ofpay for the classification whichever is greater for each hour worked.
PLUS RATES. Effective upon the date of ratification of this agreement hourly paid employees in the bargaining units will be compensated on a Plus Rate basis of one pay step (no less than 5% to the nearest whole cent) above his/her present rate or the entrance rate, whichever is higher, for working in higher level classifications for each completed hour of work in such higher level assignment.

Employees assigned to work in a higher level classification for a minimum of one half day (4 hours) or longer will be compensated on a plus rate of 5% computed to the nearest whole cent above his/her present rate of pay. In the event the employee so assigned is promoted into the position, all time worked in the position continuously prior to the promotion shall count towards completion of the probationary period.   • Overhead Rates The Engineer shall use the provisional overhead rate indicated in Attachment E. If a periodic escalation of the provisional overhead rate is specified in Attachment E, the effective date of the revised provisional overhead rate must be included.   • Base Rates Attached to and made a part of this Agreement is Appendix A which sets forth the straight-time hourly rates for all employees covered by this Agreement.

  • Wage Rates Contractor shall post a copy of the wage rates at the job site and shall pay the adopted prevailing wage rates as a minimum. These rates are on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. Copies may be obtained at cost at the office of County's OC Public Works/OC Facilities & Asset Management/A&E Project Management or visit the website of the Department of Industrial Relations, Prevailing Wage Unit at xxx.xxx.xx.xxx/XXXX/XXX. The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Sections 1774, 1775, 1776 and 1813 of the Labor Code.

  • FIXED RATES If a fixed rate is in this Agreement, it is based on an estimate of the costs for the period covered by the rate. When the actual costs for this period are determined, an adjustment will be made to a rate of a future year(s) to compensate for the difference between the costs used to establish the fixed rate and actual costs.
